It is total junk. So buggy. I had to reinstall just to get it to work half way. The hardware is buggy too and left an open WiFi AP. Sending the switch back and uninstalling this garbage app.

What happened?Developers no help on old issue. Lately,plugs hit and miss on showing up in app.Use to be more reliable. I reached out to developers a few years ago regarding app improvements. Specifically, how the Countdown timer is the same as regular timer.Advised to make Countdown timer a simple "+10min", "+30min", "+1hr", etc.Response was to tell me how to set timers. Maybe was a language barrier. Current issue is making me lose faith in plugs and app. Please address.

Have 4 of these useless things and replacing them with Tp-link Minis. Everyone of these devices are impossible to relink on the network anytime there is an outage. And two of them are nothing but manual on/off switchs now because they will not connect at all, won't even try when plugged in. No flashing light. Completely useless.

I consider myself a very technical person and normally have little to no problems on setup of electronics. This is literally the worst app I have ever experienced. When trying to add the WiFi, the setup will just continuously loop 'searching for router'. I have owned this item for 2-weeks and it has yet to find a network. Before the dev reaches out: Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Yes, I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Yes, I have reconfigured my router to try and meet any/all demands that may be blocking connection.

Worked in the beginning. Unfortunately when I went to turn on the timer it wouldn't work. So I thought It might be on the wrong time zone and I needed to reset the system. I reset the system and the app no longer sees any networks. So now it's only operational if I'm on the switch's own wifi. This makes the whole device extremely pointless and unusable.

The application worked great on my old android phone, being able to control the outlet when I am connected to my home wifi, or when I am away from home. However, the application installed on newer android phones does not allow me to control the outlet when I am away from home. I hope that the issue will be addressed soon. Edit: thank you for your prompt answer. It works flawlessly now.

I very rarely review apps but I have to say they deserve this review. I contacted Tech Support months ago about 2 different issues. One of them being how the app didn't fill the screen all the way on my S8+ Well this week they updated the app to fix that issue AND took the time to email me and tell me about it. That was above and beyond what I expected! Keep up the great work!

Not reliable. Had a long term issue with plugs not appearing on the app. Thought I had it fixed (following the manufacturers directions by assigning them dedicated IP addresses and frequency on the router), they worked fine for a while but literally the moment I left home for a month they ALL disappeared and have not returned. It says check my internet connection, but my wifi thermostat has no issues. I will be replacing these with some from a different manufacturer. Another investment now in the trash. UPDATE After logging out and back into the app, all the plugs at the former location have reappeared. The 2 at my current location are still MIA. One appears to have failed entirely (thank you for not bursting into flame). Again, these have proven over time to be totally unreliable, disappearing and reappearing repeatedly. I just wish I hadn't bought so many of them.

Horrible app. Android user. Used to work great and then with the last update just stopped working. Open the app and see the menu but when trying to select ANY of the menu items, it doesn't work. Unable to open anything, like it's dead, like it's just a picture on my screen. Don't buy these plugs because without the app they are useless.

I need to use this app to control a Wi-Fi remote timer. Problems: 1. there are not enough functions 2 it will connect to one timer but not the other one. 3 the settings button doesn't work 4 The timer that it does connect to when I try to edit the times it freaks out and tries to do both times even though I deleted the first one.
