Worked great initially, but after several updates, now won't turn on with shake unless I go into the app and turn it on manually first. Unless, of course, I don't intend to turn it on - then it seems all too willing. But a shake light that doesn't reliably turn on and off with a shake isn't really worth having. Uninstalled and looking for something better.

Works great for a while until my Samsung A32 5G kills the process in the background, then I have to manually launch the app to get it working again. Perhaps the author could do more to keep it running, like Uber Driver app has to keep re-launching itself in the background?

Works until it doesn't. Even with battery optimization disabled, the process is sometimes shut down causing it not to work until I re-open the app manually. I'm running stock Android 11, so this isn't some wonky OEM memory management - I expect it's an issue with every device.

Awesome app, low power consumption, free,no ads.. But doesn't always trigger correctly.. Required going back to the app once in a while and setting it all up again because nothing works for some reason...

Its not bad but it will turn on a couple times then I have to go into the app and turn it off and back on, second before I found the sensitivity I had to shake my phone so hard just to get it to turn on hard as in pretty much evertime I did it my phone flew out of my hand, after I found the sensitivity I moved it up one and it was the same and the third sensitivity is what i have it on but slight bumps turn it on the last one you barley move the phone and the flashlight comes on

Battery drainer. Also, even on lowest sensitivity setting it was turning on and off in my pocket while I walked up and down stairs and getting in and out of my car. And the amount of ads is ridiculous.

Terrible, worked first time then never again, says app is running but no amount of shaking will work, tried this on a Huawei mate 20 so the phone isn't the issue and neither is battery optimization, it's just a rubbish app.

best flashlight app I found so far. simple and clear. allows you to turn on/off shake input, vibration feedback, and proximity detection so it doesn't go off while it's in your pocket. also, no ads, and is able to be activated at any time even if the screen is turned off. note to developer, you might want to change the word "sensibility", too "sensitivity", or "responsiviness". 🤘😁

Fantastic idea, however it comes on in my pocket when walking. Would be very happy to give 5 stars if this could be rectified. I look forward to an update thanks. Yes I do have the proximity sensor option enabled and it has still happened on a couple of occasions draining the battery. One thing I have noticed of late is that sometimes it just does not work at all, I have to go into the app itself turn it off and on again to reinitialise it I guess.

Hold up! I was wondering why every time I made a phone call. My screen would BLACKOUT and stay that way! Couldn't interact with the phone at all! It was this app, that was causing the problem. "Proximity sensor" Don't get me wrong, Shake Light does work for the flashlight but, my phone calls are far more important....
