No longer works for android 11 (Note 20), sad to have updated without knowing this... App restored on android 10 works, even after updating to 11, but upon uninstall and trying to restore back using Helium, there's error. I think it's due to new Google Android policy, but I have to give a 1 star now that developer is not keeping this updated or to reply to our enquiries even when we paid for premium.

Super clunky just to get it to try to work, then my restores all failed - was only using it to transfer some games that won't sync across devices otherwise. Worked OK when I used in a few years ago to transfer from my previous^2 phone to my (now old) phone.

Bought premium version. Did everything correct with the desktop app. I try to do a backup and I get a "Backup Error". The entire error is "An error occurred while perfroming your app backup. A log of the error has been sent to ClockworkMod. Click Backup to attempt to backup the remaining apps." I have tried that to no avail. The only thing that looks like it backed up is the Messaging Storage and the User Dictionary. Everything else errors. Tried each of the 105 apps individually so it is not just one app screwing up the batch. Please help me troubleshoot this. There is no way to contact you on your website so this is my only recourse. Help me fix the problem and I will update this review.

This KIND of works, if you have Android 10 or lower and you wish to download Android Studio, install the adb platform-tools on your computer, and copy over the tool's drivers and the tool's executable to overwrite the desktop application so that it will work. The app hasn't been updated, so the tools needed to work just don't work. I was able to install the full ADB from Android Studio, and just used the ADB Shell to issue commands from the command line to do the backup and restore functionality. I was able to backup from an Android 10 device and restore to an Android 11 device with no issues, without using an app. Just a PC, backed it up to the PC, then restored it from the PC to the new phone. Wasn't easy, but I did a search on how to use ADB to do just that, and found one that I could follow. This app doesn't work on new phones. Sad. However, ADB still does, for now. However adb backup has been deprecated and Google may be removing it from Android by the time 12 rolls around. If you need to perform a backup, search how to do it with ADB, and how to get it installed (separate stuff) and good luck to you.

The only backup option that even tries to work is backup to internal storage, which is pointless because, like most people, I don't have a lot of space left on my internal storage. The backup to PC option is absent. Apparently you can activate cloud backup by paying €4 and installing the Helium premium app on top of this one, but the reviews for that say that it mostly doesn't work. In other words this app is useless.

4 stars for an app not updated since 2019 and for the technical hoops you have to jump through. Still, I used the free version and even though I had no expectations, it performed flawlessly. I needed to move app data that was not cloud backed-up from one phone to another. I followed all the instructions for installing the Android apps on both phones, then I installed the PC app and the ADB files. Backed up successfully to an SD card, restored on the new phone successfully from the same card. Not sure the links in Google Play are accurate. I am going to give this app at least four stars because I remember I used these programs in the past to backup older Android smartphones, unfortunately it seems this app is abandoned... It's sad because it was one that worked really well, as time went on newer phones and operating systems sometimes couldn't use this app due to lack of updates. Thanks for everything I'll miss this app .

The process to make everything working is too articulated. after I downloaded a driver on Pc, whatched few tutorials and modified some files as it described , I can backup only the system and not Apps. Sometimes happened I got stucked into a loop of screens where the Helium asked me passwords .the App doesn't seem very relaible for such common request in the 2021, which is SYNC AND BACKUP CONTENTS. I simply not reccomend it

Used to work perfectly and it was a lifesaver, I was able to restore my backups in January 2020 but now I just get an error ("an error occurred while retrieving your device list") and my backups are completely inaccessible. :/

User interface has been the same for too many years and is very dated. Also, not everyone uses a PC anymore for connecting. Not really practical or easy to set up
