It was fun at first. But after level 4 it just kind of lost it. The difference in the computer skill between 3 and 4 felt like nothing. But the difference between 4 and 5 was just astronomical. I went from being able to pretty consistently beat the computer to I am regularly getting skunked. I don't know, maybe I just suck at the game. But either the level 5 grandpa is cheating or he's using algorithms of some type to determine the probability of the cards popping up. Not worth the money.

I started playing to help me learn how to play and it was pretty good with that, explaining points and Grandpa helping you with missed points. But after a while you notice the hands dealt are not random and the game is stacked against you which makes it boring in the long run. Great for learning to play but not so much if you already know how.

Sweet, good-natured, casual cribbage game. The aesthetic is charming and the grandpas have real character. It lets me reminisce about playing games with my own, which is lovely because I didn't get enough time with him before he died. It's a little buggy, but I'm happy to overlook that. The game is more about the relaxing, meditative experience than intense cribbage play.

Absolutely wonderful. Aside from being clean and functional with no hangs etc it's absolutely gorgeous visually. The art, writing and music comes together to form a comfortably nostalgic atmosphere. For the price of a biscuit with your coffee it's yours and will keep you entertained through many coffee breaks. One minor gripe, with muggings it seems the computer opponents never make a scoring mistake however it may just be unlikely enough that I haven't seen it.

Most of this game is great; quick gameplay, good AI, fun graphics. A few bugs that I've run across, but usually it just crashes and I can start it up where I left off. The big bug I'm running into, though, is with opening hands; every time I'm first dealer, I'm dealt the exact same opening hand (Q of spades, 5 of hearts, 6 of diamonds, 3 6 and K of spades) and the starter card is the 6 of hearts. It's not a deal breaker, but it's kind of annoying. Without that bug, it's a solid 4-4.5 stars.

It's a garbage game. Their idea of "harder" means the computer gets better cards. Seriously. Doesn't matter the difficulty. Maxed out, AI gets bare minimum 12 pt hands. Every single time. There is no skill involved. This is prefabbed bullshlt. I'm a damn good cribbage player. No amount of "skill" can beat "predetermined cards". I absolutely do not recommend this game to anyone. There are other cribbage games out there. Fairer ones. Please, go play one of them.

Utterly charming interface that makes learning and playing cribbage a really relaxing and fun experience. I had no idea how to play before this, despite being really into games and trying to learn in other ways. But now I'm even teaching my mum how to play! One or two bugs, with sound continuing outside app, but they do nothing to spoil this experience. Absolutely perfect example of how to make a digital card game engaging! Thanks grandpas

Game is smooth and charming, but something is wrong with the randomness; multuple times I've gotten the exact same hand at the start of a game, which isn't very fun. Also, the game doesn't let you switch back to it after switching apps, anf has occasional crashes.

Every time I switch to a different app the game crashes and I can't continue where I left off. Example when I get a text and I check my text and go back to the game it force quits the app and all progress is lost wether its game progress or right at the beginning when making a grandpa. Please fix. Otherwise the game would be excellent.

The game is okay... when it does work. It crashes on a regular basis or doesn't start again after being minimized. Partially bad programming though: choosing a harder difficulty level just translates to "Grandpa's getting better cards." It does work offline though, which I think is very nice. Overall: If you don't mind the small crashing flaws, and if you like playing cribbage on a medium-just-for-fun-level - go get it.
