I use it every day now that I have moved to Portugal and especially appreciate that it allows you to select European or Brazilian pronunciation. However, I give it only 4 stars because of one really annoying design decision. If anyone from Linguee reads this: REMOVE THE LANGUAGE SELECTION DROPDOWN NEXT TO THE "x" BUTTON IN THE SEARCH BAR. Like me, an English speaker trying to learn Portuguese, the vast majority of your users are surely only going between two languages. The top item in the menu is already "Select Language" so I'd argue that the extra dropdown to the right of the search bar is redundant. It is so frustrating to keep getting the language selection overlay when I just want to clear the previous search.

An invaluable resource for learning a language. This is the best dictionary available in my humble opinion. While it may not suit everyone, I feel most people will find it very useful. The best part is that you can download offline dictionaries to your device to use anytime, anywhere!

Contextual Learning is the major advantage in having this Spanish language learning app. Most second language learners began to excel in learning if they submerse themselves in the culture. If you don't have that option the next best thing is to have the meaning of the language written out and include the context and its meaning. This app provides all that as it pulls from outside sources to help you not only learn words but phrases within context as well.

My keyboard (Gboard) won't show word suggestions when writing in the text field. Dark mode would be nice too. Also, last update was 4 years ago, there must be some optimizations you could implement. Fantastic app otherwise.

A good translator, but i need an offline one, yet this application even tho it has that option but it doesn't work, i wish the developer team might contact me, i would send a screenshot of the issue (note i am using Android 10)

Wonderful entirely! Also has excellent offline dictionaries, useful in remote areas. Simple and entirely effective. Indespendible and uniquely efficient database search for any term or phrase, giving living parallel examples in target language and reference language. An essential tool for all translators and language learners! Best language app and site ♥️

Outstanding service with a great, ad-free app. With that said, it's not optimized for modern aspect ratios - my phone is 18.5:9 and I have a black bar at the bottom of the home screen. Also, the main menu should not keep prompting me to show translations in other apps. I don't want to; I open Linguee when I need it. A dark theme would be very welcome as well.
