Asks you for your Google password in plaintext. If you signed in via Google on Desktop, you have to do it via Google in the app too. Except it doesn't open a google-controlled screen to sign in, instead it's a Loom app screen that asks for your Google password. Totally not safe as you are giving perhaps your most important password in plain text to a third party with clearly questionable security practices. They should handoff to the android operating system to log into Google.

Same app as always some things I wish existed would follow; sync with the desktop versions, a way to more easily edit videos, a option to only start recording on app switch or a more standard floating button, and a better overall ui but other than that it's still the great app it is and was

Sign in with Google does not open auth screens of my Android but instead opens a webpage where I can't even see the URL to sign into Google. Seems like phishing. I trust loom but cannot ever compromise on typing my password anywhere in the app. Whole purpose of Google sign in is defeated.

It barely works. Most times it won't upload though. But it's very confusing why I can't upload a video I saved with my phone inbuilt app (as it's a bit better and faster to do).

Doesn't work at all. Tried to uninstall and install again but still it's not recording. The app would freeze and close.

It does not work AT ALL. Will only record for 10 secs max then it'll cut off and NO VIDEO is saved.

Update: The developers have been responsive and helpful. I'm happy to say the app is now working great for me. It's brilliant to have this option on my phone as well as on my computer. I've changed my rating to reflect this. I have a paid account with Loom and I'm looking forward to being able to use this app one day. Currently, it fails to upload or display the videos I record, so any recording that I've done is wasted or perhaps it didn't record in the first place.

Limited utility as you can't record "camera only." Right now only the screen or screen+face bubble are supported. For my use case, this makes the app essentially a viewer only and not useful for content creating. I will be using vidyeard until they fix this. The iPhone app on the other hand is great.

The app doesn't work from the beginning. It asks you to sign in and once you put your email address in where it's needed nothing happens which translate into "delete this app" because it's a waste of time. I'm deleting the app now. It's unfortunate that I be taking my bis elsewhere.

For a school project we were assigned to record our online reporting on loom. I chose the record screen and cam, but then as it did start recording for atleast twenty to thirty seconds only a white background could be seen with my voice over without my camera. If it did record my screen, the same thing happens which included only my voice. I was frustrated by doing this over and over again getting the same result. As well as cutting the video when it reaches a minute or two and it hangs my phone
