On my samsung stratosphere it can't increase the heap size, as my default is apparently 72m, meaning no support for stratosphere. I'm not sure if the fix would be larger values or maybe it's just the stratosphere or my ROM. Anyways id like some help, thanks!

I almost never leave reviews. I feel it's worth my time here though. I run live wallpapers, one that uses up to 17mb! It really slows down my optimus t that I've had for 2 years. Installed this after rooting and boom! Fast!! Well done.

Shouldn't have been playing with it on newest Android. Phone got stuck at the boot. Fastboot and factory image helped and now have to reroot. Stay away from this, if you own newer devices.

Problems with HOX on CM10.1. Stuck at loading screen after changing VM Heap to 64 from the default 256m! Restored using this method: [from recovery] adb shell mount /system adb pull /system/build.prop [edit this line on your computer to the default: dalvik.vm.heapsize=256m ] adb push build.prop /system/ chmod 644 /system/build.prop [restart phone from recovery] Use this app with care and you will probably get good results.

I can see major difference. I use anim mod and am using a Motorola Defy. A bad combination since the phone is very slow, even with ROMs such as SetCpu and Optimistic for Root, although they did improve performance the apps still loaded slow. Finally came upon this app and I can see noticeably better performance, from 30 to 64 M of heap, and so far seems stable. And now I get fast apps and I get to see the ssmooth transitions of anim mod :D Thank you!

It worked fine on my GS4, but on my DROIDX(Liquid ICS rom) it boot looped my phone. Tried three times to use thus app after SBFing my phone then installing Liquid ICS again. It still soft bricked my device.

This app screwed up my phone, it showed default heap value for gingerbread is 24m which was bullshit. I'm running gingerbread now my phone crashes every time i turn it on. And i cant even open the app drawer to access the app to undo the changes.

Be SURE to heed the warning about setting the heap too small. I almost bricked my rooted Nexus using this and accidentally setting it to 64 - my Nexus was stuck at the colorful X. HUGE thanks to AI for posting his fix using ABD (part of Nexus Root Toolkit for me by Wugfresh). Thanks!

As i said' especially using an older os such as froyo£®/gingerbread and honeycomb this is a perfect tool u need for ur rooted phone follow the instructions carefully and u will get success to use this app with no technical probs make sure u have busybox of stephen stericsson v1.21 installed thanks developer:) thumbs-up!
