Doesn't work on OnePlus 8 pro "without root". Works perfectly on OnePlus 6 without rooting. This plugin does exactly what I hoped it would, allowin automatic hotspot for my truck radio to use for internet without me manually turning on the hotspot. It works perfectly on the OnePlus 6, but on the OnePlus 8 Pro Enable tether doesn't work and said root is required. Disable tether works fine without root though. Both OnePlus phones on Android 10 🤷🏼♂️

Doesn't work on s9+ not rooted. I'm leaving a below average rating even though my phone is not rooted but hear me out. They claim it "may" require routing when i was fairly certain that is bs. If they're making a claim like that for this type of functionality, they should specify when it may work.

pixel 2 XL. Plug in is created. settings pages is created to allow editing of wifi hotspot. when you go back to tasker the app says nothing was rooted.

Works great on A10. I did have to use magisk module "systemizer" to convert this to a system app, then give it root.

I have a pixel 4 and ut doesn't work, i had to refund tasker because the plugin fails when installing to the system.

Works well in Nougat. Had to install as system app though to get it working. Edit: Couldn't get it working in A11. Tried installing as system app using Terminal App Systemizer module but didn't work. For those looking for an alternative use the Github version of Tasker Settings app by the Tasker dev.
