I agree with all the latest reviews. The last update on March did more damage then good. It seems that more bugs were installed than fixed. Is there no Quality Control that tests the updates before a new release is pushed out ? If you are trying to compete with RING, you need to get your developers and quality teams to do their job.... Right now I feel that I wasted my money on junk and should have gone with RING.

[USE NVMS7000 INSTEAD!] This is so bad, some motion alarm can playback and some cannot. Lower bitrate ones seem to play fine, higher bitrate cannot. It plays fine on NVMS7000 or iVMS 4500HD. This is really a crappy app.

Horrible application. I constantly have to go and readjust the motion detection and sensitivity because it keeps resetting itself on the doorbell. I also have to consistently force close the app to view the camera because it will not load. The doorbell does not activate the video/audio chat when rung, it only pops a notification saying that the action was cancelled

Needs dewarping image for doorbell. I'd like to receive a notification to accept or reject call, instead of app popping up and closing a game; Ring does that. Needs direct connection (port forwarded) to the doorbell without going p2p. Right now its 50/50 functional with Halo One doorbell. Nice hardware, terrible software. Laview should consider unifying all their apps into one, with combined functionality.

Do not buy. Avoid at all cost. Everyone should get there money back. This is the WORST product I have ever owned. The software does not work, and the customer service is a joke. Completely useless and almost deceptive. I tried for MONTHS to get the app working, too get the doorbell working, to get the wifi cameras to load in the app, etc. Nothing works. No support. The app is almost unusable. How is it possible that this company is in business... Get the app working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The camera worked great before the most recent firmware update on 3/6/19 - the camera's resolution degraded completely and some features (e.g., multi-window view, audio, etc.) have been removed. I contacted their support and they said to reset the camera. Upon resetting the camera multiple times, the camera's performance is still compromised. Through multiple emails, support did nothing to resolve the issue. Very poor customer service and shoddy camera resolution. Avoid this company at all costs.

Barebones app with horrible interface. I can't zoom when the video is paused. Why? Also, it fails constantly, and you have to keep clicking the refresh button hoping you dont have to do a hard reset on the machine to get it working again. Can't you just put in an auto retry option instead? It's good when it works, though.

This is single handedly the WORST piece of software and hardware I've yet to deal with. Can't even friggen connect to the network for setup and the app crashes while trying to do so, I get 'software exception' and freezes the app. Returning this POS product and going with something else. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME

As mentioned by others, notifications stopped after latest update. Laview support says reason is a recent change in Google's policies. Don't know what policies. No estimate when it will be fixed. Until then unit is useless as it doesn't send alerts for motion or bell ring.

Can watch cameras but not recording. when I go to playback and select dates it starts loading and gets stuck at 80% or 86% or 94% and rarely loads not sure why it's doing that. I have to playback on NVR directly if I need it which completely defies purpose of this app.
