To be fair, when has a game companion ever been good. But in all seriousness, I love the concept for Halo Waypoint on mobile, a place to browse news, forums, and interact with Halo in general when you're away from PC/Console. But when the app is so under developed, and so many bugs visible when you first open the app, that turns away people from using it, making 343 or Microsoft not want to fix issues.

App is getting better but there's a lack of information on the store. When I buy a coating using the app it doesn't say it's limited to specific armor cores. If you're going to limit what coatings can go where at least distinguish that on the app interface. Tell me it's only for one coating so I don't waste credits on something.

Getting a glitch! When I try to customize the spartan the visual is a neck guard and visor. Have had a regular waypoint account on the website. The app concept is a great idea but needs to be fixed as we transition to mobile. I would like an option to add in clan info like the website. 343 has maybe taken on a little too much with this. Either way kudos for trying, maybe ole Bill can help you?

Have only had Halo Waypoint installed for 2 days and I am extremely disappointed. It's very shocking that Microsoft, a computer software and hardware company, cannot create and manage an operational companion app for Halo. It's clunky, slow, weird, I cant link Steam much less edit my Profile, avatar is not representative of my in game avatar, I can't pull up any in game stats, just event and battle pass progression. I don't think there's one good thing about this app. Microsoft, do better. Plz

Buggier than all hell. This app can barely load the details. Info inside app is all useful. I like that you can change your armor customization... But getting it to even load up in the first place is intermittent at best. I have great service/wifi. Brand new pixel 6. I know the issue isn't on my end.

I've seen a lot of reviews about the bugginess of the spartan customizer, but I also feel like those people need to understand that that's not the main point of the app and the fact that they even put it in is amazing. Come on though, why are you customizing outside of game? The information is awesome and it's an easy way to read up on the current Halo related news while I'm loading into a match or just need to kill time.

Was finally able to log in but when I try to customize my Spartan after choosing the armor and selecting modify, it briefly shows the customization options with no Spartan and instantly crashes the app. Also when I try to toggle on contact information it won't save the setting, happens with the steam id toggle too. Hopefully these issues get addressed soon.

The app is decent it still needs a lot of work but again it is a beta app but it's very promising it is slow I have noticed though and as far as customization options go there's not a lot going on I think the app needs a little bit more depth to it.

For a franchise that rakes in hundreds of millions, the app is legitimately dated at least 10 years behind in terms of performance, functionality, and even basic user-friendly and eye-pleasing UI. Legitimately only use it to check the daily shop, and even THAT doesn't work properly most days.

The app has a decent design to it however there is no real use to it. Can't see proper stats and is often clunky to use. When trying to use the customize Armour option for halo infinite, the app crashes everything.
