Dave the Knight is a retro action hack and slash RPG game that puts the player to be a brave knight and evil hunter, exploring random dungeons Gameplay As a dungeon explorer, a brave knight and an evil hunter, players will venture and explore the many levels of the deadly dungeon. Meet various interesting characters from the village that will aid you in your journey as an evil hunter. There will be an elder who will guide you from quest to quest, a blacksmith who'll forge you the finest weapon and more! Collect coins to upgrade and level up your character. Don't forget to bring herbal potions to help you survive the dungeon against its many dangerous inhabitants such as zombies, bats and skeletons. When things get more and more difficult, enlist the help of a pet to help you attack those pesky baddies. With less necessary grinding, the game would be better. Also, I am unable to find the game on google play search, even if I write exactly Dave the Knight. Why would that be? I installed the game from another game's suggestions btw. EDIT: I found it but it is low on the list. I think it should appear at the top when written fully.

I like it. I think I would like it more if you could swipe anywhere on the screen to change dungeon rooms. Also a virtual joystick to move around town rather than pointing in front of the character. Also the potions and maps buttons would be better served on the bottom of the screen. You could then play the game easily with one hand. Still, I like it so far. Edit: Nice! Dev changed the controls.

You can get food by watching a video. How about no? Right. "wait or pay" mechanic which can be easily tweaked to increase waiting time high enough to make watching the only choice (or uninstalling it and leaving a review).

Great game but I can't seem to attack the Octosquit in Dungeon 9. My spin attack works but I can't attack any of the individual Octo arms...Otherwise I'm having fun! And I agree about the gems wish I would have collected way more with the bug!

Had I known that diamonds are premium, I would have tapped my way to a few more thousand of those. Love the graphics. The exploration seems a little shallow so far, find key, descend, repeat. The dev seems active enough that there might be improvements on the regular, so I'll keep checking in.

I have been playing this RPG dungeon crawler since beta and it is a lot of fun. The best part of the game is the developers customer support, they always always were open to feedback and extremely quick to act on it. The game's art style is unique and the sound effects are the best. They range from farting sounds to other weird sounds. Give it a go and keep up the good work devs.

What a gem to gem to stumble across! Downloaded this as it was on my recommended page and it is right up my street. Some good old retro hack and slash action with RPG elements to boot. Looking forward to diving deeper into the dungeons and meeting more interesting characters. And killing some of the monsters along the way of course!
