RTA Smart Drive is an on-board route planning, exploration and navigation app that does not require a mobile internet connection to search and navigate. Used it for 1 month in Dubai recently. Needs lots of improvement. Many times it will tell you to bear right or bear left but will not tell you to take exit. Overall i would not recommend because once you are on the freeway, you will end up missing many exits due to its bear left and bear right annoying philosophy. Google maps are much better. For example many times it will tell you in one sentence: bear right then bear right and then bear left. Messed up.

This app is what you need to drive in UAE. As a new driver it helped me ease my stress driving in unknown roads as it does very clearly and in advance instruct to use the right lane, and the right exit...etc It works offline perfectly as well. Just one thing, it still misses listening of many locations. I hope to see your database cover all possible addresses in Dubai. Appreciated and very well done RTA.✅

One of the best app using offline, I love this app and RTA Services. Please add one more feature, when you zoom any location and want to select location by touch it can't be select,. Otherwise app is very good.

I am using this software since last 5 years. Really Helpful application. The best thing is we can use it while you are offline - without internet connection. Most of our drivers are also using it. I suggest others to go for it. The only request to app developer is that try to update the app after specific time period and keep us updated. Rest of all... Superb application. 👌👍😊

Wonderful application. except for one hiccup that always bothered me using the app. it is that it is difficult to identify whether you should make the turn on certain highway filters, as the destination route line too wide and thick. perhaps if it was narrowed down a little, it would make it easier for the driver to read ahead whether he/she should take the filter or not.

It is good apps, but all the time it makes confusion. Like if I choose a route and I am on the way, it gets disconnected from GPS and after a while when it connects it takes another route and roaming around and around which waist almost 30- 45 minutes. Its needs to improve. Google is the best GPS system. I dont know whenever I used it tries to go through all signals in the city..I can say it needs much more work to improve its function..Regards Ejaz

I needed a Sat Nav for a short car hire and was advised to use this app as a data connection is not required on the mobile phone. I have a Huawei P20 pro and the GPS signal was very strong, I had no loss of signal whilst using it. I was able to search for locations whilst being 'offline'. The app gave me clear instructions straight to my destination and also the option to avoid tolls. I would highly recommend this app as an alternative to Google maps.

the only free app that reports cameras in Dubai, but requires more frequent updates to the streets, as Dubai is constantly changing. I suggest that notification can be sent to developers (while in online mode) each time a car behaves unpredictably according to layout of the map. By accumulating behaviors in the same area, developers should decide if this is a new change in the streets' map, an accident, or just an individual behavior

very good application , still need more development . problems faced : - late instruction to enter service road or to make turns should instruct me more ealier - no train or underground train stations options if i want to use them - walking or cycle option - tourist intresting area not available
