Instadose® is a smarter radiation monitoring platform that is simplifying administration, reducing costs and transforming how staff are monitored and safeguarded from radiation over-exposure. Now immediate dose reads can be captured by internet enabled computers or smart phones and tablets. The Instadose® Companion mobile app wirelessly communicates and securely transmits accumulated dose data from Instadose®+ and Instadose®2 digital dosimeters to Mirion servers where dose information is archived in the wearer’s legal dose of record. Automatic dose reads are performed on an established calendar setting (set by your account administrator) and manual dose reads can be performed at any time by pressing the button on the back of the dosimeter for 4-seconds. Successful transmission occurs when the dosimeter is in range of the mobile device with the Instadose app opened and “searching for devices” appears on the main screen. Dose results, history, and wearer/dosimeter information can be immediately viewed (by the individual wearer or admin only) directly on the app after a successful transmission.

I'd really prefer to use my computer rather than my phone to take this reading. Comp has bluetooth, badge has bluetooth, seems like a no-brainer. Also, there's no discernable reason why this app needs location access, especially asking for location access all the time/background. App did read my badge the one time I tried to read it. Took a minute or so. Oddly, dosage was 0mrem, but that's from a couple hours in a room with a C-arm, so plausible.

idk if this badge is even accurate the app for sure does not work worth a dam. I spoke with instadose cs and they said they'll never be able to give what dose you specifically receive at what specific time while looking at graph because the time delay from the servers means you can only know within 12hrs or something. basically on the graph it will show up as the day after. I like the badge and idea just needs better software and it'll be amazing.

Absolutely useless application. Connects to the badge then resumes searching over and over again without getting a reading. Very reassuring to have such a terrible application behind a product that's supposed to keep track of my radiaton safety.

Superb design and better than the previous version. It needs Bluetooth on and have internet connection then will be seamless. I like the orange notifications at the bottom as reminders.

Cant get my badge to connect to the app. have tried several different things to get it to connect so I can look at my dose readings. nothing I've tried works!

Extremely limited app, and no way to reset username or password. On 1st try as well. Created my Mirion account, but the App isn't acceptable my credentials, saying, "Username and Password do not match." Seriously? They DO MATCH.

App needs to be updated more regularly. There are still read issues and lots of phone compatibility issues.

Installed the app. It searches but never finds my badge. Also, it wants a username and password. Dont i need to register first. Piece of junk. Will be talking to my boss tomorrow about getting different badges for everyone that actually work.

Worthless when you can't even register upon opening app. Want username and password but where is the registration page? How can I see my reading then?
