What a great way to either start or improve a babysitting co-op! My friends and I started using this at the gym so we can all get a kid free workout in. One mom watches the kids while the rest of us take a class. We pay her with Komae points that she then gets to use when someone else is watching the kids and she is working out. I've also made a ton of new friends using the nearby and messaging features. I can see other users in my area and send them a message to see if they want to meet up at a park for a playdate. My village is so big now! My friends have watched my kiddos so I can have date nights, go grocery shopping or even just to get my house clean! We have saved so much money and grown so many friendships!

My local MOMS Club chapter uses komae to swap free babysitting and we love it. My favorite part is that I can also swap babysitting with local friends outside of the group, too. I've even set up a playdate with a mutual friend through the app to expand my village! I splurged and upgraded to premium so my scheduled sits and playdates automatically display in my Google calendar!

I had a minor issue with my groups not showing up and the Komae team fixed it within hours. My friends who I invited into a private group love this app too!

It's ok but it was hard to find where to submit a request. Once I tried to submit a request, nothing happened when I hit submit, so I assumed it didn't submit. Once I checked, it did post, but one double posted and one triple posted, and I can't find a way to delete the duplicate requests. Also only works well if you can convince your friends to download it (which is why I didn't download it for so long) and only one of my friends has, so it's probably not going to be very useful to me.

I like that it makes it easy for me and my friends to ask each other for help when we need it without feeling guilty. And the points help because I feel like I'm giving my friend something valuable without paying cash. And my kids get to play with friends more often which they love!
