Syncing this app to the Bowflex's control panel was an impossible feat over the years. I've only kept it installed hoping Nautilus would get it together. 😧 Recently, between 3-16-21 and 3-18-21, the app crashed 21+ times before our Bowflex finally died. 😑 It's generated more alerts than any apps I have combined. Since, the M7's main control panel died, rendering it just... a bike. 😶 So, as the company gave up back in 2018, so too, I have no reason to continue with this app &/or the company.

Doesn't even connect to the machine (M6) I bought 2019 Christmas. So a machine barely over a yr old isn't supported. That's Bull Chit! They will however sell you the $135 per year (maybe more, not sure) "journey" I think it's called, so you can use ur totally misrepresented product. I paid the hundreds of extra dollars to have the smart version, that could sync with my phone. Good machine, bad apps, worse resentation. 1st bad experience I've had w/ Bowflex or Nautilus. I fractured my pelvis and could not use my bowflex for a month. in that month's time the app changed without warning. From what I could gather, the functionality I was accustomed to I now have to pay for when I thought I paid enough over a year ago for the equipment. how do I get something that I can track my workouts, have workout characteristics that allow me to challenge myself without paying for a subscription? if I wanted a subscription I would have looked at peleton or Nordic track.

I can't get this to connect with Google fit. It brings up my Google account starts to load but does nothing. Is there an update planned to resolve this issue. Been over a year since making this review

New update got rid of the simple adjustable 14 and 21 minute HIIT programs. Bring them back. I will not pay 30.00 a month for 5 year old videos!

I have the M5 - love it. However the app could use an improvement. For example, the ability to delete a workout session. Sometimes a family may try it and the M5 starts recording. Because I am User 1, all those "trials" are linked to User 1. In addition, if someone accidentally selects User 1, it logs it as if it were me on the trainer. So, the ability to delete a work out would be useful.

A decent app for tracking your Max Trainer workouts, but it has poor connections with other apps. It takes a long time to sync up with Google Fit, doesn't have the option to sync with FitBit and the MyFitnessPal connection link is broken, giving me this error: "Invalid API request (unhandled server error)" Once these issues are fixed, I'll give a better rating, but for the time being the app falls short of being anything other than a basic journal.

Useless. The expensive machine does not have any instructions for the primitive control panel. The app is totally useless as it cannot connect to the Max Trainer

What a garbage app for a great trainer. Features stop working because they are outdated. Bowflex won't update the app to fix the problem. But hey now they have a $299 upgrade so you can use the latest app. And the information on the upgrade is ridiculously vague. The messed up thing is I love the machine so much I am probably going to buy the upgrade. I wish the software team was as good as the hardware team.

The Max trainer is an awesome piece of kit so it's disappointing that the app is average. The bluetooth sync is unreliable - fixed by either rebooting the phone or the Max trainer or both (but how annoying is that?!). The connectivity with Google Fit results in incorrect calorie data (factor of at least 4x wrong) being recorded (although the Max logo looks good in Fit, thank goodness....) and in this world of recording all our activities the Max app seems to think that 6 minutes on the Max trainer using the fitness measurement programme is not an activity and no effort is recorded! Big name like Nautilus should be doing better.
