The New King James Version (NKJV) is an English translation of the Bible first published in 1982 by Thomas Nelson.The New Testament was published in 1979, the Psalms in 1980, and the full Bible in 1982. It took seven years to complete. The anglicized edition was originally known as the Revised Authorized Version, but the NKJV title is now used universally.

Abou NKJV
According to the preface of the NKJV, the NKJV uses the 1967/1977 Stuttgart edition of the Biblia Hebraica for the Old Testament, with frequent comparisons made to the Ben Hayyim edition of the Mikraot Gedolot published by Bomberg in 1524–25, which was used for the King James Version. Both the Old Testament text of the NKJV and that of the KJV come from the ben Chayyim text. However, the 1967/1977 Stuttgart edition of the Biblia Hebraica used by the NKJV uses an earlier manuscript (the Leningrad Manuscript B19a) than that of the KJV.
The New King James Version also uses the Textus Receptus ("Received Text") for the New Testament, just as the original King James Version had used. As explained in the preface, notes in the center column acknowledge variations from Novum Testamentum Graece (designated NU after Nestle-Aland and United Bible Societies) and the Majority Text (designated M).

I don't like that every verse begins on a new line. I A major plus over other NKJV apps I've tried is there are no section headings. EDIT: the name of the LORD is not differentiated from the title "Lord" as it is in the NKJV and the majority of English versions. This is a poor transfer of the text to the app.

It's a good APP and appreciate you good. Would've rate 5⭐🌟🌠 But highlighted text and notes created and not synchronized by the app. Put in more effort to come out(update) with synchronization aspect.

This Bible application has a good user interface, aesthetics, features, etc. It isn't saving my created Topics on my cellphone. It does save them on the tablet. Developers please consider auto alphabetical ordering of the 'Categories/Titles' when adding new categories under the Topic tab. An email to the contact was undeliverable. Also, the option to underline verses would be appreciated. Thanks for the highlighting options already available. *Has not been updated in almost 2 years.

It's quite a lovely and helpful app to use. Makes the study the Bible very convenient for me; the word on the go. OBSERVATION: is there an improved version? Pls, make it possible to sometimes highlight a word, phrase, or sentence in a verse rather than the whole verse. Thank you all and God bless your efforts.

I am happy so far with this app. I like how it looks. I love that I can place verses on my screen. They have been very nice so far. One problem, the verses are missing the books from which they came. I just downloaded the KJV. It took a few minutes for it to play; I like the little that I heard. I will raise my rating as I use the app. It is a little hard to use, but I am taking it slow. Please consider audio for the NKJV and 1 or 2 others. Thanks for making the app.
