Perfect! It does exactly what I need it to do. Even hides the date in the photos details. If that's what you want download this! Idk why it has such low stars.

Do not trust the rating, it is 5 star. Even only needing permission for one folder. All the bots just rate it 1 or 2 star and say it's trash. Think about the clown world we are in right now, they don't want you to find an app that truly removes all the exif. Try it. Run ur original pic through different exif apps saving the result of each; move them to a windows computer, go to properties/details and see how this app wins. Even using windows built in feature to remove exif does not come close.

Works just as described on my potato LG. This seems to be the only EXIF deletion app WITHOUT fake positive reviews. Super simple even if you're only quazi-comfortable with navigating through files on your phone. It's easiest to use a file navigation app to get to the edited pictures afterward. To the developer: My dude, thank you for this gift of a program. All the other ones feel like poorly cloaked phishing metadata scams with intrusive ads. This was EXACTLY what was needed here.

Previous: New interface worse, doesn't add 'stripped' anymore to name so can tell which are safer to upload, would be nice to get old version and maybe add modify multiple files simultaneously. Original 5* Simple without excessive permissions. Saw another review asking to see the exif data before and after, sounds like that would be nice to have. Great app, thanks.

It did exactly what it says it does. It removed the EXIF data from a photo, saving it into a new folder. No permissions were required except for one to the destination folder, and that was very selective. Worked perfectly. Thank you.

Thank you for your response to my review. I did verify the metadata removal via external methods - worked perfectly! The issue was with the PicsArt (Beta) app. This program needs more development before using Exif Eraser as a direct save option post-editing. Works like a charm as described!

New "Choose your preferred image source" UI seems terrible, just find me an image. I couldn't locate an image I had just edited in Google Photos. Also it needlessly scrolls horizontally. And so many Settings for a single-shot "pick image, erase metadata, done" utility.

Erases the EXIF info and also changes the source file which is an absolute no no. Verified by using binary diff for source files (100% different) and then using difference in Photoshop. This app must erase the EXIF info. It must not touch any data beyond that.

hard to find my images. no multi select. Edit: when selecting image thumbnails, short and long presses deselect first image and select new image.
