Contrast is a puzzle/platform game where you can move between a fantastic 3D world and a mysterious shadowy universe in 2D in the blink of an eye. Delve into a dreamlike and surreal 1920s world, inspired by the performance art world of vaudeville and film noir, and cradled by a smooth and sultry jazz ambiance.

In this universe, where the boundaries between showmanship, magic, intrigue and deception are blurred, you play Dawn, the imaginary friend of a young girl named Didi. You have the power to slip from the 3D dreamscape into the parallel 2D shadow world bound to it. Cast light on a shadowy story by manipulating light sources in the 3D world to distort, enlarge or stretch the 2D shadow world. Manipulating and shifting between light and shadow will be the key elements that you will need to use to solve our world of shadow-based puzzles and help progress Didi's story!

I bought this game for my Shield Tablet. I bought it with real money. And now it's incompatible with it? This is not acceptable! There is also a need to open those apps to more devices. My Shield tablet is aging. A lot. And I have quite a few games that I have bought that are only compatible with the Nvidia Shield range. And I'm not that interested in buying a Shield TV, originally I wanted to be able to play those games on the go. I recently bought the S6 Lite tablet to replace my beloved Shield Tablet and I'm sure it is more than capable to run those games (software limitations not withstanding, I've heard about GLTools and all that). Something needs to be done about that. Sorry for the low rating but that makes me a little bit sad. Thanks

A puzzle platformer with brilliant atmosphere, a charming story, and an innovative game mechanic allowing the player to shift into and out of a shadow form. Unfortunately the controls let the game down a bit. The player character sometimes pops out of shadow-mode unexpectedly and for no apparent reason, making certain challenging sections very frustrating. I still found it enjoyable enough to play all the way through twice, though.

EDIT: I was able to run the game by creating a shortcut to android's desktop pointing to its main activity. Also, another activity for the settings to choose between maximum speed or maximum high quality. ----------- Original problem: I cannot find the app in the launcher after installing it!! Searching for this game in Play Store, I found it, but I am only allowed to UNINSTALL it, there is no OPEN button in store page to launch the game. Running Shield TV 2017..

Latest update installed just fine but refused launch, but after fiddling around trying to fix it I reinstalled it, now it doesn't show up at all and cannot be launched from play store either. This is on a nvidia shield tablet. On the shield tv it still seems to work OK.

This game was previously working perfectly on my Shield Tablet and now there is no icon for it on my tablet and the game does not launch. This is a Nvidia game that is now not working on an Nvidia Shield Tablet. I have contacted Nvidia support and they are claiming that Nvidia no longer supports this NVIDIA title. This makes no sense! Nvidia get your act together and fix this game please. Restore a previous version in the Play Store that was previously working!

It shows as installed yet doesn't show in my app drawer any longer. And the play store says its incompatible with my devices, Nvidia Shield tablets. I paid for this and that's wrong. It worked fine. Why did you do that?

Worked fine on Shield ATV although I hoped the game to be a bit longer.. :-) When I tried the game first on Shield tablet, I also got the license validation error. Curiously the check started passing after I disabled developer options. I couldn't reproduce this consistently so this might be just a coincidence..

Et litt spesielt problemløserspill, krever også en god del av min Shield Android TV så rekommanderer ar man starter den på nytt for man starter spillet, ellers blir det å gå tregt. Grafiken er bra for et mobilspill, det er nesten i klasse med eldre konsoller. Det er artig å prøv å løse alle problemer og finne alle prestasjoner og samlerobjekter. Historien som blir fortalt er trist, men gir mye dypt til spillet. Det som drar ned er at det er alt for kort, noen få timer for å spill igjennom det og noen til for å finne alle objekter og prestasjoner. Så ca en dag totalt, det gjør at spillet føles dyrt ut til tross for alt annet positivt.
