I wanted to like this app too. But it's just not well-designed. You can't even bookmark the Bible. If you try to go to the main website and login, your credentials don't work. There is no way to get help or make suggestions. If I'm going to pay this much, I would expect a lot more, like audio recordings. Or even just bookmarking the Bible, saving my favorite translation, and taking notes.

Really on its way! May want to consider the ratio of free to premium content. Compared to other subscription apps there is very little free content, not enough to bring a new user in but can easily be enough to drive them out. The U.I. displays error codes frequently and sometimes goes unresponsive. These errors resolve 9/10 times if I refresh the page. If U.I. issues are an ongoing issue, a simple refresh button would be helpful. I can easily see this app being amazing once it's more stable.

Everything is behind a pay wall. That doesnt fit w the message. Ask for donations, sure. Have some premium features, sure. But all i can do for free is read the bible? Dude, i can read that for free anywhere. I can pick one up for a buck at goodwill. Im not a huge fan of st. Paul but he at least worked side jobs to be able to offer his ministery for free. Im not saying u have to do that, but if u just mean to reach the well to do, then say so so that the rest of us can save our time.

I really want to love this app. It's really hard to find devotionals from a more progressive pine of view, but the pay wall for these is way too much. I would be more than happy with ads, or even a much lower monthly fee. It would get more paying customers that way. There's not enough free content to help me make a decision to put that much money into it. I'll have to keep looking.

Things that say "Free this month" are still behind a paywall. I dont mind paying eventually. Bud I'd like to be able to sample the content and community first.

This app is mostly pay. And worse yet, the devotionals are written by people with less than a grasp on the Bible. They mention a verse or two and then veer off to talk about their own nonsensical opinions. No rigor. No scholarship...except may to try to debunk some tradition. But plenty of defense of their own opinions.

Same as everyone else, I'm beyond disappointed by the fact that almost nothing comes with the free account. Just about everything is "pay to pray," which sends such an awful message about the people who designed this app. I've been looking for a prayer app with egalitarian content, and it's disheartening to discover that the only one available is too expensive for most people to afford. I could suck it up and purchase it, but I feel as though I don't want to feed the designers' greed.

Seems like a good idea, but I couldn't access any of the devotionals without paying, despite some being in the "free this month" category. I want to like the app, but it seems you can't really explore any of it without paying for a subscription.

Amazing premise. There's just a couple of hiccups that make it just short of perfect. It runs a bit slow. Everything takes a bit too long to load. It's lacking personalisation options, such as organising my devotionals, showing at a glance which are in progress, the ability to organise them. Its good but with a bit more adjusting it would be amazing. Nevertheless I've already recommended it.

I'm not a Christian but downloaded this app to see if it'd be worth using as a reference material. Good idea, but needs a lot of work. It just seems a little disorganized. The devotional page scrolls and scrolls and scrolls; why not add some filters to make it easier to find the content you're looking for? The search function is improved by the ability to jump to a specific category, but it may also be useful to be able to sort by length or other qualities? I appreciate that you include some Spanish content though. The bible section includes a few different versions for free, including a Jewish version. The Catholic books are there, but the apocrypha are not, which is disappointing. It would be very helpful to have a function for comparing the same text in different translations side by side. The search function seems rudimentary — it sometimes gave me the right results, but several test searches brought up no results at all. The search function would ideally search through all translations of the text to allow you to find a specific passage even if you're only familiar with it in a different translation. If you have the ability to star verses for later, you also need a section in the app to quickly find your favorites again; I could find no such section. If it exists, it's not intuitive to find. The navigation buttons, or at the very least the home button, need to be pinned to every page. If you've gone down some rabbit trails in the bible section (possibly elsewhere too? Didn't look), you have to back out of multiple pages to get back to the home button. Too inconvenient, needs tightening up.
