excellent widget. Yes your battery will go a little faster, it's using cpu and wifi/data every few minutes. Alerts me within a few minutes when one of our routers or an important client drops offline. priceless. One wish: configurable alert sound.

Would like to pick alarm sounds. Would like a log of past history. Would like a real app with control panel, to turn on/off or add/delete monitors without having to use up home page space with widgets. When internet connection is down, reports website is down although it shouldn't. Still, other similar apps are even worse, so this is about as good as it is for now. Some other apps have features missing here, but they also lack features that I need.

I don't know how this works. You have to rate the app before you can use it. Very poor thought in that requirement. How can I accurately rate something if I can't use it first. Did the developer think that people would give it a good rating because it is easier or are they hiding something. There are many ways they could have integrated things so people had to rate this, but allowed them to use it for a bit first. If it is outstanding I will come back and modify my rating. Changing this one thing will significantly boost your score.

I'm not sure why other reviewers have said it must be rated before they can use it. That's simply not true. It's a widget that monitors Web servers. It's very simple and it works very well. I agree with other reviewers who said they would be willing to pay for a version with more features, but I'm very happy with the free version.

This is a very well written widget. Not only does it do port 80 test, it also does a verification of the downloads Web page to verify that the page content is accurate, making sure that it will notify you should your site go down because of situations like database connection error, where the Web server is still responding

Wish I could customize the notification though. Don't want it to do anything but put a notice up. Don't want it to vibrate. As for the people saying you have to rate before using, not true. This is a widget. There's nothing in the app itself.

It makes you rate it before you can use it. Guess I will leave it at 1 for now. After giving it a stupid rating, I STILL can't get into the program. Maybe it doesn't like my "1" as a rating. Delete.

App forces you to review product prior to first use. If you don't do so the product is unusable. Where has the integrity of software developers gone to? Once I get to use the app maybe I'll submit another review but I doubt it.
