“Panasonic Image App” is an application that makes it possible to use your smartphone to remotely control the shooting and playback functions of a Wi-Fi-compatible digital camera/digital video camera, and to perform upload operations to SNS (Social Networking Service) sites. The following major functions are available with this application. ・You can watch the same image as on the Live View screen of your digital camera/digital video camera on your smartphone, and control shooting and other camera operations as with a wireless remote controller. (*1) ・You can play back still pictures and videos recorded using your digital camera/digital video camera on your smartphone. (*2) (*3) You can also copy them to your smartphone, and upload them to SNS sites. (*3) Additional functions for digital cameras ・This app allows you to implement continuous connection with a digital camera that has Bluetooth function and make Wi-Fi connections and perform remote operation just with your smart phone. It also allows you to apply location information to recorded images and easily perform automatic transfer of images.(*4) ・You can make settings to automatically transfer still pictures recorded with your digital camera to your smartphone. ・You can add location information acquired with your smartphone to pictures recorded using your digital camera. I'm using the app on Samsung S20 with my G91. After setup the connections all works fine. The pictures are going from G91 to S20 rapidly. If the S20 is not available in the moment the picts will be sent automatically if S20 is available again. The app is asking me if I want to connect to wifi and if a picture checking should be done. Both yes and it is working again. No setup must be done after the first setup. First setup is a little bit tricky, because missing a good description but after than it works fine.

Pretty good image transfer app. My chief complaint is that transfer always transfers both raw + jpeg to my smartphone. I only want the JPEGs, but can't find an option to disable raw transfer.

The conexion worked fairly easy with bluetooth for me. But this app is so horrible and outdated that I kind of regret purchasing the camera and would've prefered another brand with a better app interface.

Spyware. Requires location tracking for no apparent reason and sends usage information home before giving the option to opt-out. Apart from that it is a nice app.

This app is ridiculously dysfunctional. It can transfer your images to a device. Yes, but only 30 of them at a time. It can remotely control your camera. Yes, if you are lucky and patient enough. It can serve as a field monitor. Yes, but when in full screen you won't be able to change focus mode remotely or have in-picture magnification or pinch zoom in MF. This app calls urgently for a rewrite by some UX-aware devs, and a serious round of acceptance tests

I have used this app for several years, it was better before the last update. The ability to delete camera pictures using the delete function on the app was very useful when viewing on a larger screen. Otherwise a good solid app, 5 stars if you bring back the delete function. Still a great app but please bring back the delete function!!

Incredible functionality. The interface can be a little slow. I use this with my Lumix LX100 II. It bugs me that the lens always retracts when I first connect, rather than just staying extended. Same when I go to Playback mode in the app—the lens retracts. Other than this and a couple user interface buttons that can be confusing, this app rocks!

Just does not work well enough to function continually times out is not functional as a remote operator and all of the other options are much more easily done by just putting the memory card in a computer. Like most major brands of GREAT hardware, the software is a failure because they hired a third-party company to write it and they have to pay that third-party company a lot more money every time there's some little update needed so the app is not actually useful
