The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has developed a smartphone application titled “Rasta” in collaboration with City Traffic Police, Lahore to provide smart solutions to general public’s traffic related problems and queries. This application will facilitate the citizens in various domains such as applying for license, paying challans, and planning driving routes. The app will also generate timely traffic alerts for citizens to ensure hassle-free driving. “Traffic Updates” another feature will allow the users to gain prior information on the intended traffic routes. With the help of Google Maps traffic updates, the source and destination points will guide users to avoid traffic congestion.

Every time I open the app same message appears that app is not connected with the Internet. I tried both medium ie WiFi and Data as well but the same result, app crashes. The problem have been identified by many users but PITB being the government debt pid no heed and even replied that the app is working fine. What a pity.

Whats the point of booking an appointment for driving linsence. I arrived at liberty office before appointment time they asked for appointment and entered my name on piece of paper and i have to wait more than an hour for my turn to arrive. They are so used to pen and paper desi system so much that even though system is online you have to wait as per the enteries on that paper. Rubbish! The app appointment slot system is itself flawed. So many bookings on same slots.

In My License under vehicle applied it is showing M/Cycle M/Cycle while it should be M/Cycle M/Car. It's a huge flaw in the app that it's not even showing the basic things correctly.

Booked appointment slots for driving tests should be shown. So that one can skip the booked slots and apply for the open slots. Currently their person has to check all the slots and search for the open slots.

Very pathetic and useless application. I've downloaded like 5 times and app isn't functioning properly only thing the application can do is LANGUAGE CHANGE. Please report this application so it can be removed from play store.

Note the following serious UX problems: 1. Appointment Center locations should be shown on a map so that the applicant can visualize distance & routes 2. Once a location is chosen, only those dates should appear on the calendar where at least 1 slot is open 3. Only open slots should appear in the list of available slots, instead of relying on the user to hit & try 4. Token number should appear after confirming a booked slot 5. The renewal form downloads but it is just a file carrying 302 error

After successfully download i am unable to open it ." everytime i found this error "please check your internet Connect" if my internet conncetion is not established then how can i download this app. PITB team please check and resolve issueASAP.
