Laptrax has proved invaluable for use at my 5000 square foot home off road RC track. I've been using Colortrax exclusively now since I get the best results with no missed counts. Once I understood how to properly setup the App it was a real joy to use. I've had up to 4 racers at a time using Colortrax and it is incredible. What was a huge surprise is that it calls out each racers Name for laps past if you entered them before the race. Otherwise its "Racer 1" etc. A MUST get for any racer!

Fantastic App! I love the display and motion detection! Spoken lap times are tremendously valuable! Works flawlessly on S9+ I would like to see a YouTube video on how to use each function. A listing of laps and times at the end of a race would be nice. It only gives a partial list. I would love to see a Minimum Lap Time option to weed out false double lap captures like what can happen when your RC car crashes in front of the camera. Whomever it was that made this app, Great Work!!!

App works well for motion detect, but I can't get colour mode to work. Whatever background/car combination is used the app claims the car colour exists in the background even when it clearly doesn't - so can't progress past the new racer setup. In the beta options is what looks like an older detection mode which seems to work, but the default mode doesn't seem to work on at least the two devices I've tried it on:- a Samsung S7 and a Lenovo tablet.

This is a great application, for measuring lap times and keep tracking the race counters, without any transponder or technical gadget. Having fun in small family race or competition with friends. Small and compact, No ADS, but knows everything for amateur racers! Genial! Thanks for the award winning product!

Using this app for HO slot cars on my Android phone this app works great. Made a bracket to suspend the phone over the racetrack out of foam core board and this is all I need to keep track of laps and Times of laps you have to play with it a little to learn what all the little buttons and gizmos do. perfect for the home track and way way cheaper then any other lap counter and timer I have seen

I am using this for tiny whoop drone racing practice at home. Amazed at how well it works. I do wish it would allow fixed time races vs fixed lap. Also I wish the first lap time would start when I cross the line vs the countdown Is there a way to donate to the developers? EDIT: It does have a rolling start feature. I struggle to get laps recorded consistently. Some tracks I can find the perfect spot, other times it's a bunch of trial and error and it misses laps occasionally.

Really good app. I have been using it for Mini-Z race timing in our backyard during pandemic lockdown. Stops my 10 year old son from cheating by constantly declaring he is ahead. Using it with an old Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and a home made gantry made from PVC pipe.

using it for slot cars... is good if u have good color cars or add color paper or tape to the top of the car... noticed it depends quite a lot on the camera quality depending on light conditions... but great solution... would be amazing to have chromecast with more stadistics dashboard functionality. but juat being pickey :)

Love the app. While we have been on lockdown been using the app in the garden. The only down side is how sensitive the motion mode is. Camera needs to face towards the outside of the track.

Accurate lap timing for my slot car, tested alongside my Scalextric C7042 and never missed a lap today for over 100 laps, I'm still figuring it out but looks great, I had mine resting on top of a foot bridge looking down.
