Hub is useless without monthly subscription. Moving to a different hub but finding it very hard to remove the devices added to the hub without a subscription. Going to factory reset all my devices (nodes) and trash the wink hub. Don't like being held hostage and locked out of functions that I paid for. Hope your company goes bankrupt.

Unconscionable that a company would sell you various hardware at premium prices and then years later require you to pay a monthly $5 subscription fee to access the device that you already paid for. To add insult to injury the app works intermittently and poorly at best. What trash. I would have never purchased in the first place. Then they change the rules to the game after it has started and still offer a subpar service to a captive market. Shame on you.

Every single comment Is spot on! Wink is now garbage! Do not buy! Save the headache and your money!! Total pain I n the arse. Won't connect, lights fall off for no reason, lagging performance. They got me don't let them get you too! Wasted of alot of money and time I'll never get back...worst tech company ever!

Wink products require a $4.99/month subscription. Without the paid monthly subscription of $4.99, this prodyct has no value, and Wink products have limited use for home automation. I have had a Wink hub since 2018, and Wink outlets since 2016, when they then worked without the hub. The future cost of this product has been proven unreliable to me, twice.

limited functionality means, able to install the app and that's it. There is no functionality whatsoever unless you subscribe. You can't even add anything without subscription.

Wink was great when free you could actually talk to someone for assistance now I'm paying & it's always going down & can't reach anyone Unfortunately all my stuff is linked to wink or I would definitely seek service elsewhere! So today the day I will FINALLY cancel my subscription sengled lights works With Alexa & no fee & they call you within seconds so cam actually speak to someone not wait for an email reply days later when your lights don't work sorry Wink word of advice CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I am an early adopter of Wink and have been using it for years. Over the years I have set up a fairly extensive Smart Home with more than 100 smart devices linked and automated via wink. I have created my own wink alarm system that covers all entry points with window, door and motion sensors in every room. Like other companies (Wyze) wink had to move to a subscription model to stay alive. When I moved to the wink hub 2 several years ago I saw a huge performance and stability improvement.

The app looks good, and it's ok when it works. I wouldn't recommend it tho, as it frequently won't control lights, garage doors, etc. and Alexa forgets how to talk to it. Wink is a garbage company, changes the terms of service AFTER you but their hardware. Stay away!

Use to love this app but after it became a paid service I stopped using it. The hole reason I went with wink was because it didn't charge a monthly fee but since then I learned I don't need it so I'm going to take it out and sell the system.

The addition of a subscription paywall just to use the products I already bought is unacceptable. I'll never purchase or use any wink products in the future and have plans to bypass wink entirely to continue using my current wink hub.
