Something is really wrong with this app.......it worked fine for 5 months on this cell phone galaxy A2Os. Now it has an odd picture of a robot over the home page saying download the remote app.. Then the roku app closes.....Please fix it. Updated and edited: I have even switched phones and I put the app on my phone which worked great until I signed in that seems to be my problem and the bad thing is now I cannot find out. Can somebody advise please and then I will change my review.

I am giving it three stars because it has stepped up his game it's got better movies and shows and it normally does. But the commercials are ridiculous there are less commercials on TV than there is on this app and if we rewind a little bit where there's that commercial it makes you all those commercials you already watched again Other than that is the only complaint I have about this app please cut down the commercials a little bit .so I want to watch a movie's more on this app!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get videos to load, I often have to reopen the app at least 5 times before it will even try to play it, sometimes it doesn't work at all and won't play but stay frozen on the black screen with the play button paused. I use wifi and 5g, my phone is a Samsung S20 fe uw, the picture quality on mobile is trash. I've been using my laptop now and the quality is amazing. Even if I set my play back to high it still looks like trash. Please fix the bugs and video quality on mobile.

Went to watch something today (October 18) and got a haunted house screen with a message that the Roku Channel app is no longer supported, but I should download the Roku Channel app to keep watching (yeah, I didn't get it either). I tapped on the link and it sent me to a downloadable REMOTE CONTROL. Hardly the same thing, you damn fools! Thank you so much for just dumping so many app users with no warning whatsoever!

Why cant i get into my Roku App. Ive already downloaded it, ive opened it & watched my shows. Now its telling me to download again. I dont need a remote control, i have 2 already. Just want to watch my shows & movies. What did yall do to it. Put it back the way it was. You didnt help at all. Made it worse. Gezzzz

Since they redid the whole thing within the past week it is very difficult to use shows that are series you can't access different episode along the way and they don't have enough comedies it's all serious drama or horror. You say I want to watch an old comedy and they have it but you have to be a member to watch it or be affiliated with a TV sponsor. I was about to buy a Roku TV but with all the problems I've had this week I don't think I would ever buy one

I am only posting because i have a roku TV that is changing channels by itself, starting streaming apps by itself, turning back on when i turn it off, pauses live tv at will. When looking to call, email or text roku, they are non existing. There are many posts about thus issue back to 2017-with NO SOLUTION. So i can't watch television anymore.

Love it! I save a lot of money by not having to subscribe to cable. I bought a Roku $29.99 and hooked it up to my 18 year old TV and all is well. I recommend the Roku device and app on your phone as an alternative to cabe

Won't load. I keep getting a not enough memory, free up some space. I used to have this app on thiis device, it vanished. I did a system refresh and this was the first app I attempted to install. Roku help forums are a complete joke. Good luck trying to install these latest versions.

Apparently this Roku Channel app is no longer supported. They want us to use the Roku Remote Control app instead. They should remove this app from the Google Play Store to avoid any confusion.
