Every game is a unique challenge, with four different playable characters, randomized levels and enemies, and hundreds of items to collect and use. The game is simple to get into, but strategy is required if you want to win! Start the game by choosing a hero, which can be improved and customized as you quest through the dungeon! • 4 heroes: Warrior, Mage, Rogue, and Huntress. Each hero has a different playstyle. • 8 subclasses which let successful heroes further specialize their abilities. • 13 unique lategame abilities that grant special power at the end of a game. • Over 100 talents, which let you incrementally power up your hero as you level up. Every run though the dungeon is different, with randomized layouts, enemy placement, and items! • 5 distinct dungeon regions over 26 floors, each with their own enemies and room layouts. • Over 60 enemies, 30 traps, and 5 detailed bosses to test your skills. • Over 100 equipment items, including powerful wands, rings, weapons, and armor. • Over 150 regular items to find and craft, each with their own uses. This is the best spinoff of PD out there. The dev continuing to update is the cherry on top. I do like the new features. The base mode is a little too easy for experienced players, but the challenges fix that. I wish there were more variations of the challenges but hey, already very happy. Same as with the base PD, if you are giving this a negative review because it's "too hard" then this game is not meant for you. Go play angry birds or something else easy so you can feel good about yourself.

This game is great to play when you want a good challenge. Each round I've found it to be a unique experience, I love how random the dungeon layouts to be, and the difficulty provides a good challenge. All the bad reviews, all seem to be complaints about the difficulty, so if you're not looking for something that'll be hard (trust me it is), just don't get the game. No need to leave a bad review because it's hard.

Of all the pixel dungeon games i've played, this has got to be the best one out of all of them. Every update has had new and fun stuff, the music is great, the randomized dungeon layout is amazing, I have never seen a pixel dungeon game with a feature like that before and is overall is a fun and high quality game

There's a very good reason for the rating to be so high on this version of PD. It's truly incredible, so much effort has been put into it to make it feel more real, balanced, and fun overall. Defiantly my favorite. My only gripe is that there aren't saves. I get that it adds the the asthetic and feel of the game, but a save system, even a manual or optional form would be wonderful. It feels like its own game but it plays like a PD. It's intrepid and remarkable work. Well done Evan. Cheers.

Based on the original pixel dungeon this game is much more detailed and super fun! One month later and I'm still having an absolute blast. I played the original pixel dungeon for years before discovering there were other (builds?) out there and I must say I absolutely freaking love how much shattered adds to the original pixel dungeon experience!

Simply amazing all of what I like from bade game and more if had to come up with something wrong would be the fact when you fill up your dew vile (or water skin in the case of this game) it dose not active on death to save you as it does in the base game, died many time because my memory told me I was safe, but I'm just not picking and I truly love this game, my advice to any new players is: hide on the other side of doors it will save you a lot more then you'd think.

This game is Very, and I mean, VERY unforgiving to new players. Besides that, once you learn all the mechanics, this game is Very Fun. I play it almost everywhere, I even bought a chromebook to play it on there too. I highly reccomend it to anyone with a good sense with these games.

This is the most popular for a reason. It's stable, challenging, and the controls are simple yet very easy to use. Very replayable, but I wish they was another couple classes. The warrior is the most difficult with no unique features to exploit at lower levels.

-Best mobile game out, but I had to drop my rating because the spawn rate of mobs is just too much a lot of the time.- Challenging and updated often to keep things fresh. I really do hate how many/how quickly mobs respawn on cleared floors though. Going back a few floors to buy some potions or an Ankh will often leave you hungry and with less pots and hp than before because you're fighting constantly there and back. This becomes a HUGE headache once you start fighting monks.

So far it seems like it's a fun game but. Just as soon as I get anything decent I immediately die by some op monster of some kind it's not the dying that's pissing me off it's that right after I get something cool immediately within like a minute or two I'm dead every single time like maybe the game is designed to kill you the second you get something cool got an ice spear on level 1 died on next enemy as an example it was a damn mimic total BS I had no way to combat a creature that strong....
