This is a useful app.....but it gets it epically wrong on its dot rating all the time. It seems to get very confused about swell direction/ wind direction , and how that relates to weather it's east or west coast. Once you learn this...it's a useful app

Fake buoys data. The guy has just picked a point on the model and called it a buoy. There are no buoys in most of the locations. Buoy data is too expensive in nz for the app dev to access.. The spot info is ripped off the yellow book and edited a bit with incorrect info (like the todes) and trying to deter beginners). I like the app still as a map but it's a lot of kiwi bullshit huh

I rated 4 stars as the one feature that's missing is notifications. If we could get notifications for favourite breaks at a set time each day (or configurable based on conditions) it would be 5 star. Also, looking at previous reviews, I would cut road conditions from scope. That's not the apps core function and you already have an API to navigation apps so not much needed in that respect. Cheers.
