The best Android MP3 player I love the simplicity of the UI and all the customisations. I only miss the ability to sort albums by date added so that I can listen to the newer albums more easily.

Why are my playlist being deleted every three months after going through the effort of putting them all together. I'm sorry I'm leaving this app forever, I've had this application for several years, even went as Far as purchasing the paid version, but I am still running into the same issues.

In my honest opinion this app is the closest I've found to Google play music and in some ways I find it better. Couldn't be happier. It can also play your mp3 downloads if you happen to have them like I do.

have been enjoying the app so far.. but recently the app cannot recognise those newly added mp3 files in my phone. please help resolve the problem, thanks!

App hasn't been updated in a very long time. Playlist problems exist. Bought a license but no support reply to recent issues. Used to be great.

Edit: Docked a star because it straight up deleted my 150+ song playlist. Really frustrating. Been using Shuttle for years and highly enjoying it. One major gripe I have is that when you pull up the queue/playlist, the view has the current track at the bottom of the list, showing songs that you've already heard or skipped. There's really no point in showing that - it should show the current track at the top, so that you can see the upcoming tracks. I really don't understand how it's been like this for so long. Also, the 'now playing' color in that same list need some serious contrast. It's hard to notice when scroll through the list.

I have been using this player for many years, mainly due to its support for gapless playback and its folder view, and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately, folder view has stopped working on Android 11. This is due to a controversial decision by Google to prohibit raw directory access to all apps for "security reasons". Unfortunately, this means that Shuttle+ has to be updated to make the folder view work again. I reported the issue almost 3 months ago but have not received a response - the player doesn't seem to be actively maintained at the moment. Because folder view is an essential feature for me, I will unfortunately have to drop Shuttle+ and look for other players that work on Android 11.

This app is excellent. I have about 18000 (purchased) mp3 files installed on an SD card in my galaxy tab 8. Shuttle+ copes with all this very well.

Generally like this music player, and have used it for a few years. However, after updating to Android 10 I lost all my playlists in the playlist section. I can still add songs to them, but not actually play the lists. Also, shuttle basically doesn't ever start up again where it left off playing last time. I have to manually open the app and start playing, but it will usually forget what songs were in my list and I have to start over again.

I've used Shuttle+ for years and really loved it. I've just changed phone from a stock android unit to one running EMUI 9.1 (Huawei) and I suspect this may be causing the issues; as another reviewer has pointed out, I started receiving a "shuttle+ service is running" notification banner, which was frustrating, especially on the lock screen where it stopped me from changing tracks. I rectified this after a lot of fiddling about with the notification settings, but this isn't something I've ever had to do previously. In addition, album artwork no longer displays full screen in the lock screen as it used to, which isn't really that important, but was an option I previously enjoyed. I still love the fact I can set the transparency of the widget however!
