Requires location permission. Not just approximate location, but requires your precise location or the app shuts down. There is absolutely no reason a heated garment needs to know your location. None. Will just use the button on the garment. Next products of this type will be from a less personally-intrusive brand.

It's not enough to say the app doesn't use location or doesn't access my files. REMOVE THE PERMISSIONS from the app, please. Then people will rate the app better. It's a pair of socks, there is no reason to have permission for location or files.

Doesn't work! Prong that goes into battery pack broke after one day of shoveling in northern Wisconsin. Move the battery pack to the back. Got a replacement from the store my wife got it from, if this one is better I will change my review.

Worst app ever. The app worked for 2 weeks and then no longer connects to the vest. A bluetooth vest does me no good if everytime I want to adjust it I have to have (because of only one working hand) someone help me. Because of medical conditions I need to make heat adjustments based on what I'm doing etc. Thanks for destroying the last bit of freedom I have during the colder months.

UPDATE 27 Feb: Re: Permissions, tech support responded and explained these permissions to my satisfaction and an owner reached out directly. The Bluetooth permissions are baked into Android; not good but not this company's fault. If they want to use BT at all they are stuck. I strongly urge the company to clearly describe this on the app store and website. Also, make your contact form more user friendly. I have not been able to use the garments yet...giving 4 stars for now due to the effort to reach out. Will update when I have a chance to use. --------------------------- Just bought a couple of pieces of heated clothing from this company in large part due to remote control/bluetooth feature. It turns out the app requires suspicious permissions to location and files (read and modify on all files). And I mean requires...app shuts down if permissions are not granted. Developer does not attempt any explanation of why these are needed and I can't imagine they are. Uninstalled app and will likely be returning these items.

When you spend $160 for a pair of bluetooth pants, you'd expect the app to work - but it doesn't. Bluetooth connects to pants, but app cannot find the connection. Pure trash!

If I had the option I would not even give it one star, worst app ever has not worked not even once and it's kind of a pain in the butt to try to turn on your socks when you live in an extremely cold climate, definitely not worth it we'll never buy from this company again.

Will not connect to blue tooth. My phone recognizes the hoodie but says "needs app to connect" but the App will not find the hoodie. What a Joke !!!
