Works ok but so much potential held back by a poor and outdated UI and cumbersome usability. Seems to be a PC app forced to work on mobile. Inconsistent experience and bugs across iPad and Android apps. C'mon Somfy - you can do a lot better - please do a complete usability overhaul via a professional design studio.. You have the potential for a must have app and an amazing home automation experience. Your start up slogan is 'Building happiness'?? more like 'killing happiness'..

App improves with each release and has plenty of functionality to control roller blinds and associated sensors. Not the most intuitive application so it can take some time to get the most out of it. NB the iPhone version of the app has slightly different functionality. To control blinds by voice control (Google or Alexi) Tahoma needs to be configured carefully considering naming conventions, room setup, etc

Totally agree with the comments. It has some good features but the UI-UX is completely outdated. Each time you open the app you have to wait 10 seconds that the start screen disappears. Sometimes you have to log in again. Lastly I created a whole daily program (that's very cool)... but it didn't work at all. No program started not even the ones that were working before. Give 3 stars for the features (when they work) but I'd love to see a new updated app...

Could be faster if the app could connect directly to the Tahoma box. Now it is completely dependent on the cloud servers, which are not always reliable.

Badly designed user interface. Need to login everytime you open the app. Unnecessary complex process of adding shutter remote. Why can't it be simply added by scanning the QR code at the back of the remote? Adding devices cannot be done via the app but website! Rooms setup is horrendous. Need massive update on this app.

Agree with most reviews. Could/should be a lot better. The start screen is annoying and the app loading too slow. Te UI could use an overhaul, urgently. The hardware is great but software is lacking. No widgets, etc on ios either. For the overall price for a somfy installation I would have expected a lot more.

Startup time of the app is very long, and the UI/UX is archaic. Simple tasks require too many taps. There's no way to select the room overview as the default. Software updates for the TaHoma box block the usage of the app, until you agree to perform the update: terrible. Finally, the box should have an Open API, just like Philips Hue, so people are not locked into this app.

It's very frustrating to use this app very day. Very slow in onpening, issues with re-opening (sometimes don't reconnected, so I have to manually shut down the app and reopen), don't support widgets (IMHO must have feature), lack of Google home or Apple home kit for further automatization. Very disappointed, after knowing Somfy is in this game for so long. Basically stuck with this app for the rest of my life. Any major improvement in the pipeline @Somfy @TaHoma?

The app takes a very long time to start. I often need to kill the app manually, as it cannot recognize that it lost its connection to the cloud. The "don't ask me anymore" checkbox does nothing. Scheduled actions are not triggered reliably. Don't fix this app. Either rewrite it from scratch or publish an open API to facilitate creating alternative implementations. BTW: Why does the app need microphone access? Are you curious about sounds in my bedroom?
