The stopwatch works, but only if the watch is connected to phone, when it's offline it doesn't, as the time measurement seems to be done on the phone and not the watch. And there is no way to resume time measurement after stopping, it can only be reset and measure another period. The stopwatch also can cause the smartwatch to crash ina way that requires it to be plugged in and unplugged to restart it (this could be the watch firmware bug rather than this app's, but it's independent of battery ).

The app works, but it doesn't do much. What we need is a stopwatch that really exploits the Smartband's abilities: speed, splits, altitude, distance, heart rate, and averages of all the above. And in large numerals, please! We don't need a silly animation when we're working out, and this is so tiny I can't read it, especially when running. Is Sony purposely keeping their free app functionality limited, to motivate developers? I love this thing, but after six months, I'm still frustrated by what it is capable of but doesn't display. I'm waiting for their next killer fitness device. I hope and trust it will be beautiful and clever.

Its like stand alone app... Its running on the smartband itself. I hope u can also do that with count down timer. It will be great.

Stopwatch doesn't work when it's not paired with the phone, so it's useless for running. Seriously Sony!
