With my Android i do not receive notifications until i open the app. this is very inconvenient and a very big safety issue.

Win911 is an interesting app but still has got some issues... alarms keep showing "pending" status in the app after they have been acknowledged even though they have indeed been acknowledged in the servers. List of alarms is confusing and not easy to sort when you have a large number of alarms coming through.

Does not get past the test connection on several of my galaxy and Samsung note devices. App is useless until resolved.

Mobile 911 alarm notifications come into my phone and I can acknowledge them on the spot. I can also get reports for the alarm to better assess what the alarm is about and how critical it may be to the continued functionality of my operation. Because I am using my phone I can make calls to my co-workers to work toward alarm resolution within few seconds of receiving an alarm. This speeds up problem resolution like never before. In my opinion using Mobile 911 is a more complete and satisfying approach to alarm notification.
