Used to be fully fledged worth 5*, removed features to use away from home and put them in a subscription with no notification for existing users. I paid for the app and supported it since 2013. Uninstalled and not impressed.

This app was originally an amazing resource. However the company decided that they wanted to charge people monthly to use it so they have been systematically making changes to the early version of the app to make it so that it is not able to be used. They have closed down all support and support articles. I paid fair and square for the regular and HD version of the app, but they have made both of them inoperable because of greed. A real shame to dump on your early customers who helped you build your business.

Program not working had to do with the version of Splashtop streamer installed on my Windows machine. If I update past version 2 to version 3 then it will no longer work for remote connections when I'm not on the same LAN Network.

Used Splashtop on my old phone Note 3 and worked great. Upgraded to the Galaxy S7 Edge and can no longer access settings to add internet discovery settings. All it needs is a button to bring up that menu. Hope the change will be made soon. Update: No updates to fix this in several weeks looking for an alternative.
