I bought this game years ago on my Android and it worked well. Now I tried to open it and it keeps saying that it needs to download 1.7 GB of info, but that it could not connect to my Wi-fi. Very disappointed if I can't play this game anymore.

I'm giving this a 3 because while everything else in the game is honed to perfection, the camera is a NIGHTMARE. You should NOT have to constantly, physically move the camera to follow behind you, it should be automatic. Seriously, whoever scripted the camera for this game should be fired.

Game won't start. It says I need a download of 1.6gb and it gets about halfway and stops there. Even left it for an hour with strong wifi once and it didn't move an inch. I spent $20 on this game and it's literally unplayable. I have tried various times at different locations over the past year to run this game and it's failed every time

Great game. Weirdly this version is sorta in between the original ps2 version and the Nintendo DS version. I was worried that it would be too difficult to play on my phone but I became a pro quickly. The only time I had any difficulty with the controls was when playing roulette in Baccarat. Sometimes when placing bets my controls would be unresponsive. Might just be my p.o.c. phone tho.

I still love playing this game multiple times, however I never beaten it yet. The only down side of phone/tablet version is that the audio is gone which was one of the things I liked the most, if you get stuck or just want to see the movie scenes look for the movie DQ8 on you tube

Why wasn't this done better? I bought this several months ago expecting the developers to make the appropriate changes. No dice. Going to keep the game (owned it on playstation) but I won't get another one from this particular developer.

It was a great game until the last update. I used to be able to play it anywhere which is one of the things I loved about this game, but now it does not run 99% of the time, and now needs constant internet connection. I would try for a refund but google changed their refund policy so good luck to anyone wanting their money back. Google is ruining everything on their own platform. I will switch to Apple iproducts and other email servers. F%©k google.

Wow just bought this game for my s21 Ultra absolutely hooked on playing it already again. The control's do take some time to get used too at first, there is absolutely no iap in this game either once bought you have the full game which I wish all games was like this.

Never played this game before so i am unable to make a comparison to the original ps2 version but the controls are rough and i cant do the roulette trick at the baccarat casino. It only lets me place 4 bets and then the touch controls dont respond anymore, except for the red X that exits you out of the game. Slot machines are too slow.
