I re-download the game because the glitches were fixed. Still not super impressed. The clues and puzzles made little sense. If I didn't find a walk-through online, I would have definitely quit at the piano puzzle. In fact in the discord I found, that puzzle is why most ppl rage quit because it literally makes no sense.. The plot was mediocre at best. I've played a lot of similar games and I'm pretty disappointed. I hope the developers can improve. Making games is definitely a learning curve.

It wasn't particularly interesting to me to the point I couldn't be bothered to finish it. I can't say what it was about it or what it lacked that made it so, but it just didn't catch my interest. This is just personal taste that may be different for others. I can't recommend for or against it based on this alone. The four stars are because the developers deserve credit for making a free game of this type with no ads that I saw.

I loved playing a point & click game with a storyline! Even more story in the future would be great! You rarely see this much of one, so congrats on making a quality app! The puzzles weren't too hard, but still fun & immersive! I enjoyed the past & present timelines. Next chapter, I hope there's even more back & forth between the timelines, as the story unfolds. The visuals, music, atmosphere, just everything, was fantastic!! I don't know if part 2 is out. I haven't found it, I'm excited for it!

Excellent game , But I got stuck with piano.. I've tried to solve it several times( with all the hints you give) but with no result. The outline is really fascinating and I am interested to go through the full story. There should be a walkthrough or "skip" for puzzles like playing the piano. I really don't want to uninstall the game.

First of all WOW, the story line alone had my heart racing. Loved every second of playing this game. Simple but challenging enough to keep it interesting. A good short game as well, but still so detailed. Everything about it just screamed perfection to me, and I am definitely more than happy to give it a five star rating without any complaints at all. Good job guys, keep up the good work, honestly!

Graphics are mostly simple, an odd blend of old school, anime, surrealism and realistic. I found the cemetary shot at the end to be the most interesting. Point n click so controls are straightforward tho I found a lot of what I thought should be interest points were nothing. A few choices. A lot of walking considering how short it is. I am intrigued by the plot, and would love to see the connection between the reporter and the other gameplay! Please do more, indie developer Sunny Penguin Games!

Loved this game. It's free and simple, no need for hints or clues yet still challenging. The story seems confusing at first but makes more and more sense as the game progresses. The text passages are sometimes annoying, but add to the creepy feeling and can be clicked through easily. All in all superbly executed!

great game Mike gillon! Very easy controls, and the game flowed. Didn't get hemmed up with not knowing where to go or what to do next. Short and sweet, but I'm sure you guys put many hours into this free to play game. Thanks for sharing ur talents! Can't wait to see more!

Hadn't played the other games leading to this one and that was to it's detriment. Quite short, and the beginning bit with the detective didn't make much sense as a starting place narratively since you spend the rest of the game with the other character. Interested enough and enjoyed to gameplay enough to look through the developers catalog but there isn't anything else listed by them when you look... Weird.

The ruin of souls is a convoluted story about crossing over to the light after death. The controls are frustrating and the puzzles vary from mockingly easy to frustratingly illogical. The voice acting is cringy, to the point I turned the volume off because I'd rather read the text than hear the awkward conversations between the characters, that although should have a deep and moving story, is just random and really just leave you wondering why on earth you're meant to care. I was entertained throughout, but probably for the wrong reasons, as everything felt forced, like the developers are trying too hard to make the game feel somewhat metaphorical and philosophical; in reality it was a tonne of going back and forth, trying to get your character to just fridging MOVE to the next panel while they faceplant into an invisible wall that suddenly appeared. Good points: this game isn't impossible to complete. It won't take you an hour of doing complicated maths so you can open a puzzle to get a key to open a box. It's more just: get this thing, use it there, talk to that person, etc. You might even have fun if you play it. Worth a try, even if it's just to experience some amusing interactions and a commentary on the theory of death.
