I paid for this app and now it's 'out of date' and I can't use it? Nice work. Encouraging your customers to buy the latest release through withdrawing supporting is one thing, but actually forcing them to upgrade is a pretty dumb way to do business.

Come out with a new app say ver 5 maybe and stop supporting this. But to kill the app I paid for and send me to the app store to extort 2.99 out of me to use the same app I already paid for is just wrong. I would have paid for another complete new version of this app. Because of the way you have decided to do business I won't buy anything from this company again. I know developers work hard on what they produce, but this is wrong.

Apparently now that the paid version has been updated to 4.1.3, the free version no longer works. As soon as I open the app, it says I need to visit the Play Store to update. I can't do anything except click "OK". Guess where that sends you... the paid app. You're killing me, Smalls! When I can open it, it's a really great app though. I'll change my review if I can get this app working again.

Are you serious? We pay for a premium product only for you to release an update packaged up as another fully paid app. And as if to make it worse, you make the version we have unusable! Disgusting business practices.

I agree with the other 'bad' reviews here. Tapatalk is not doing themselves any favours with this type of ripoff stunt. I also paid £1.99 for the App, and it is now redundant / expired..... unless I pay a further charge to get the latest upgrade. Certainly not! ! Zero Star rating is more befitting!

Omg i bought tapatalk 2 and now you want me to buy for an update? Really laggy and very unsmooth and super slow. I have very huge games that dont lag as much as this app does.

I won't be buying this. I bought Tapatalk when it first came out. It annoys me when greedy devs make "A new version" then have the nerve to try charging me for it, rather than updating there current app with these features. If i could give you 0 stars i would. And i will never purchase one of your products again because now i don't know how long it will be before you replace it with A new chargable version.

Way to treat your supporters, TT...Disable the old app to force people to upgrade to the new one? There's nothing wrong with paid updates, but disabling the old app is shady and underhanded. Not upgrading.

I bought tapatalk back in 2011, beta tested tapatalk 4, and they demand more money to keep using it? No thanks. Its a great app that has rarely had any issues, but I don't want to repeatedly pay for it every time they decide its time to redo the ui.
