For the sake of this walkthrough, we will be using the same tactic every matchup, even though at some times it is slightly altered. Your battle plan is to keep your distance from your foe, and taunt him. This will allow you to do decent damage while he will not be able to touch you.

After this battle, you will go up to level 2 and have 3 skill points to dedicate. Put all three points in charisma.

Enter the Arena

You will see that this opponent is much harder than the last one you fought, but you will once again have a sizeable advantage over him if you follow the same tactics as last time.

After the battle your gladiator will go up to level three. You should distribute these points to stamina.

This time you will realise that this battle is up against a champion. You will soon realise that champion battles are much harder than regular battles, but these are the battles you need to win to become number one.
