This app has done exactly what I wanted it to in the past but the newest version doesn't even let me open the video viewer. I still download the video but after I do, there is no push notification like there used to be. I also have to go through the file explorer to the downloads where the viewdeo saved videos are located to share them. This is what is holding me back from a 5 star.

Now my go-to app for reddit vids. Everything else I've tried it's a total crapshoot if I'll get no sound, half the frames missing, corrupted files, or just no video whatsoever. I use this app b/c it's reliable AF, though it's worth mentioning I have an older phone (S7). Huge plus is it's not limited to reddit. No YouTube, but I mostly want audio from YT so not an issue for me. My 1 caveat: I like the selectivity the saving options give me but I think the majority of people would find it tedious.

I keep getting error messages for certain downloads. Works fine with SFW stuff though. Downloads disappeared and I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, cause I'm cool with losing my stuff, but when I opened the app everything was there? Weird.

New update fixed the error that made this app worthless. The fact that the creator puts so much time and effort in this app shows how good it is. It might have issues but they are constantly getting fixed. Might get the paid version just to support the creator

Everytime I go to click on the video I shared on Viewdeo, it just days Viewdeo has stopped working and just keeps saying it. I can't share the video just from the Viewdeo home screen to where I want to send it, so I'm stuck. Not too sure if this app is a great idea...

It was good, but it's just suddenly started crashing constantly, and it's a coin flip whether it'll have th audio, or about 60% of the way in it'll just drop the audio.

Dev clarified as to how the app works. The application will only appear in the share memu if you share the content as a link as opposed to the media itself.Trying this method I was able to successfully pull the video. Appreciate the help. review changed to 5 stars.

This isnt free. It's a free trial they don't tell you about until they ask for money. Dev response is a great example of the people making this bait and switch trash. Seems like the devs don't understand what free means on the Google play store?

With the recent Update, yes this is a good app. It takes a bit to getting used to. Bugs here and there. But at the end of it. The app works as intended.

It works when it works, theres certain times it gives error which becomes a nuisance but after a second try or relaunching the app it starts to work as intended.
