Just installed the update to the app and it is now connecting first time and every time, thank you, I am back to enjoying a great camera again. (What has happened to this app, used to be so good but now the connectivity is so hit and miss it is rendering the camera unusable. Please fix this issue as the camera itself is fantastic and yes, I am running the latest firmware.)

Update as of July 15 2020 - this app works flawless when I was running Z1 with LG V30 running OS 9. BUT.... I just bought new phone Samsung S20 and now when I take pictures the app keeps crashing and disconnecting from the phone and camera and I have to keep rebooting the app and reconnecting about every 3 or 4 images... please fix this issue asap.

No PC version. Why can't there be a PC version of theta +? What is the point of having her or dng if you can only edit them on the PC with no way of getting them back onto the camera to then be able to reframe on theta+on the phone. And why can't l copy images back onto the phone?

The app was working great up to a recent update. Now, it frequently crashes and I can't use the multi bracket shooting anymore (which is what I bought it for) *Edit: it is still not working as of the 27th of April. **Edit: it is still not working as of the 15th of May. ***Edit: it is still not working as of the 20th of May.

Awful terrible app. Extremely frustrating to use. Will not stay connected to camera. Multiple errors given. Yes, I am running the latest firmware. The terrible app renders the camera useless.

No longer connects via WiFi to my Z1 (latest firmware) so unusable until Ricoh fix it. V2.0.6 still not connecting. Nokia 7.2 android 10.

I rarely review apps. Because I am rarely as frustrated as with this. How? How a companion app for a £800 camera be so terrible? Connect and disconnect from the camera every seconds. When you pair it, it says successfully connected --but it is not! You have to re do it. And re do it. And re do it. As it stands, I was planning on using this to do HDR on a professional TV series, but I am not sure. I might just return it. I wasted 2 days trying to make it work already.

Once great, now GARBAGE. I've used Ricoh 360 cameras for years now, but the software for Android just keeps getting worse and worse. I just tried to get back into using my theta V and the app will literally say it connected to the camera, then "something went wrong", and just ignore any connection. I'm connected to it's wifi network, this should be so hard, yet it's completely unresponsive. So disappointed in how awful this experience has become. I'm now searching for a NEW 360 camera. Garbage.

If you are reading this, it is already too late. Return the camera if you can. This app does not function at all. At least not for older generations of ricoh cameras. Well why does that concern you if you have a brand new one? Cause apparently in 3 years you are going to have a perfectly functioning camera that can't function because the company killed it with a software update that they won't fix. You lose more than half of the functionality of the camera without the app.

I have a $300 paperweight. The app will not recognize the camera. It says in settings it is for the V and Z1 models with no mention of SC2. Updated the firmware for the camera but the app is a total POS so far. They seem to try to update, but the number of bad reviews speaks to the product. Taking suggestions on any other app that actually works with the camera.
