Can someone explain why this app relies on an add supported video player? I paid good money for a decent camera which is spoiled by the adds. I use the video as a teaching aid and find the adds incredibly annoying when pausing. I regret buying and will never buy another Thinkware camera again if this is still thecase.

Right so after trawling through the net after having wifi connection issues with my F770 I'm going to write how I managed to get this rubbish app to work - 500 for a dashcam with an app in the stoneages. I'm on android 11 galaxy s21 Make sure location settings are set to 'always' which can only be done via the location settings. Not whille using the app, and in the galaxy s21 case you have to go into settings and specifically whitelist it (ridiculous). Make sure your not using a service like adguard or anything that filters I tried both the advanced mobile data on while on wifi and also the developer options force data on, neither seemed to make that big of a difference. Initially cottoned onto it being a settings issue when it worked when installed into a sandbox such as secure apps or island or parralel space. To be quite honest my advice would be sod the app, have two sd cards in the care - if an accident happens straight after take out the sd card and put in the new one - then go trawl through the videos on a computer at home. Much safer much less headache and no chance of overwriting and you dont need to fiddle with this piece of rubbish app.

So, this app lets me get further than the other 2 apps but it tries to connect to wifi. It does connect. But the app thinks its not connected and ultimately the unit times out. Is there no Thinkware product that works?? Cam we download the old .api somewhere? Others users claim the older versions actually worked.

Only supports certain thinkware models. If you have the wrong model it gives you an obscure error message saying that the dashcam is not responding, rather than you have the wrong app. Really frustrating trying to find the right one.

I've tried all the thinkware apps for my new f200pro because the company can't seem to advise which one to use. None of them has worked properly yet. Very frustrating.

Doesn't seem to work on Android 11, just hangs when trying to play video from camera. Why does the software depend on an add supported video player?? I paid good money for the camera system which should have add free player. Other camera manufacturers do it why not Thinkware? If I had known this I would have stuck with Blackvue.

I was initially able to set up my camera without much trouble but trying to use this app later on and it just doesn't work. I follow the steps and my camera says "connected to a smart phone" and the app says the dash cam isn't responding and stops trying. Not sure what it's deal is but I guess I can't aim my camera properly anymore.

I've had this for a few years and most of that time it had problems. Not worth buying. Wifi hookup is frustrating and there's no real time viewing. Bought a cheap dash cam from target and it's so much better.

Ads? WHY!? This app does what it needs to do, but when trying to play back video and pause it in the app, a pop-up ad shows up covering 60-70% of the middle of the screen! There's a close ad window button, but even when you do that it closes it and RESUMES PLAYBACK. Try pausing it again and it shows another pop-up that when closed again, it resumes play. It makes it impossible to pause video to review something quickly when needed urgently. This "feature" didn't exist until recently. Come on!

My WiFi is on and I'm connected to it on my phone but the app keeps saying the WiFi needs to be connected to. Really piss poor app. Very slow to respond.
