Gave it a 1 because there is no zero. This app is useless and has never been able to open a video from my Rexing V1-3rd Gen camera. I use the Samsung PRO Endurance 128GB 100MB/s (U1) MicroSDXC Memory Card recommended by Rexing, but the TimaCam app claims the card is too slow. So if you want to play back an crash video for the police at an accident scene, forget about it. Since its also not practical to view the tiny video on the Camera screen, you have to remove the MicroSD card, attach it to your computer and copy the video file if you want to show or share it with anyone because the TimaCam app is USELESS !!!

Works ok connecting to Novatek 96675 based dashcam - no issues connecting, crashing, or features not working. However, features are limited (ie cannot disable rear cam, or view live cam without the inset of the rear cam, adjust parked mode, etc). Very disappointed that the app needs Phone permissions - I don't see a need for this and developer hasn't explained the reason.

The pruveeo 2k dual dash cam is a good device. This app that goes with it is trash. Why? Because it has ads. The wifi "hotspot" feature sucks every time you power the dashcam down and you have to manually re-establish a connection (every single time), and it only works while your phone is in wifi mode. So you can't have your phone connected to your cellular network or it disconnects. I even tried this app on a backup phone with no service and the ads still ran.

Had the cam in 3 of my cars for awhile. Needed to pull video off it but it no longer connects to my Samsung Note 9. Followed all the steps to try and solve issue, it's updated to newest version. I ended up removing the memory card and putting it on a computer and then copying the files I needed to my phone.

So Angry, great dash cam, can't view it, because this app sucks. It keep saying wifi won't connect to DVR. I wasted $80 because your app sucks. I wish someone would have told mecon Amazon before I bought it. I certainly will be telling the next person.

Get it a password,sign in. Drive to store turn off car,return and try to connect to cam again and "password incorrect" and try to reset password only to get"can not use old password as new password" and now with new password it still wont connect. Not worth the $100 i spent for beeps....the rest of the cam is now usless. Spend your time and money elsewhere. Hardware side sux as bad as this software

App will not connect to cam's WiFi network. Cleared storage on app and reset camera multiple times only attempting to connect through app with no success. Also, it won't let you use app without allowing phone call permissions. Why would I allow my dashcam to access my phone? Will be returning to Amazon and giving a 1 star there as well.

Useless with Rexing. I can get it to connect to the camera wifi-ly, but it won't even show me the image the camera is seeing, no less accessing any of the stored video. But, then again, it IS only a little bit less useless than the rexing connect app itself. I'm beginning to regret selecting a rexing dashcam in the first place!

Wifi will not connect. I read the instructions. Watched the video and I still can not get it to connect. I keep getting a message from the app, telling me to forget the Wifi connection on my phone. Then connect to the app. That same message still pops up. I am returning to Amazon.
