Update. I Although password is correct, when I reopen it, it tells me it's wrong and tells me to exit. No way in ____ It really doesn't work. Doesn't stop well if you stop paying attention to show. All of a sudden, you can sign in for few hrs.. Random code errors. For the amount you pay for Cogeco, it should work better than youtube. I like it on tablet but so many problems. God help you if you fall asleep, it messes everything up. And would be good if you could arrange shows from old to new

When you really need to watch a TV show on your phone and you have the patience, it is important to know that the Cogeco TIVO app crashes the “streaming service” on the main TIVO unit about half of the time. When the “streaming service” crashes it automatically restarts (unbeknownst to you) and takes about 2 minutes to restart so ignore all error messages on your phone. The status of the “streaming service” on the main TIVO unit can be found in the Cogeco TIVO app under “Settings > System info”. The “streaming service” has to say “Ready” before you ever have a chance of successfully streaming your TV show to your phone. Also once your show tries to play, tapping the forward or back button sometimes kick starts the streaming of your show. Hope this info helps.

I don't know how you can design a worse app. Kicks you out randomly and then refuses to acknowledge the username and password that you just logged in with 20 minutes ago. No surprise...it's Cogeco after all.

This is a pretty terrible app. Attempting to download a show for offline viewing is a waste of time - it takes almost an hour, and then complains it can't play it, and automatically deletes it. When you try recording a show, it often records the SD version. There are errors and bugs all over the place. The UI is terrible, and no effort has been put in to improve it in any way. Almost every show you try to watch is content locked, so you can only view it on your tv, anyway.

Unusable. problems from the start. I log in no problem, i see my shows etc, and then i try to stream to my phone and it all falls apart. The app tells me i need to set up streaming, ok, then it tells me I'm not in the same network amd gives a 502 error. impossible yo work around. app is garbage. it would be better if it didnt even exist.

Horrible. App is a front to make it appear Cogeco has remote viewing. It has never worked. Called cogeco, they basically go through some trouble shooting then say they will open a ticket for one of the engineers. I could tell the help support person was not confident when he told me they would open a ticket and get back to me. When I asked why he didn't seem confident , he says "well, that's what is supposed to happen". 2 weeks later no call.... I get 502 error everytime I try to stream. No fix?

I downloaded this because my Cogeco remote broke. It crashes all the time and is also missing a number of key functions from the remote. If you're in a jam without a remote for your Tivo then it's good enough (if the app works at that particular time). I would never use it as a replacement for the remote though. Don't download unless your remote is broken.

The app is good but a bit temperamental. When you install the app, it appears that you have to be connected to the cogeco WiFi. Once the installation was completed, I had to restart my phone otherwise it was giving an error on sign in. Tech support has been very helpful but still Cogeco is causing lots of problems to users after they revamped their system.

Terrible app! Plagued with errors and connection issues. Always have to force stop then clear cache just to have a small chance to get it to work. Even if you manage to get it working it just stops working after a bit. Company doesn't care about the consumer enough to fix it. Been broken since it pretty much launched! Terrible.

the app works about 50% of the time. the rest of the time it has various connection issues. the 50% it does work, the audio goes out of sync when you fast forward or rewind. sometimes you can fix it by pausing or going back and forth. i wouldn't try though, as this often leads to crash or the aforementioned connection issues. i wish i could rate it higher, because that would mean it works as it stands, this should be removed from Google play until it is fixed.
