Well I bought it 2 hours ago and iv been sitting here for 1 in a half hours trying to get everything set up on my phone and downloaded, only for the app to keep 4xs, that there's a problem with the app. So come back later. So I am , I'm taking it back to Walmart and exchanging it for the roku. Sorry but I should have done that to begin with.

Terrible app. Fails to find box which is there, while finding it other times. Sometimes takes 15 seconds or more to respond, so that you think it isn't working. Let me expand on this: it is unusable as a remote. When you go into Remote Control, after a few minutes it gratuitously changes you back to the Content screen (or whatever they call it), without your having done anything. The "reconnecting" screen is sometimes up there for a minute or more (how long does it take to make a WiFi connection?). You will go into "reconnecting" for no discernible reason, too. Sometimes an error box says 'a network is required" and then that box goes away, while other times, you have to exit the app and restart it. I don't know how you could make a worse app.

Update: No app update for over a year. Still no response from developer on all the problems as stated by other users. Tivo support on Twitter just said they will pass it on, but that was months ago. Such a shame that Tivo is like this now. They mind as well go out of business.

Sad ,I was coming in here to ask for devs to add ability to effect multiple shows settings all at once and I realize I already asked a long long time ago and never have heard anything. Either bad devs or are like some other app creators on here that Cater to their apple using customers and ignor android using customers. There are more of us and Android Is superior. please add the option to the edit menu so that we can change multiple shows setting to "keep until I delete" all at once.

Tivo dvr is actvated, app can't see it 2' away. Can't manually enter the s/n. Used to be a great app. Now can't even use it.

I have a XFINITY box (1 room) & a TIVO box in another. When power goes out in my rural community & I connect TV & TIVO Box to my generator I can watch live TV & recordings The Xfinity box doesn't allow that. Anything that I had scheduled to record is not on my Xfinity box. Yay TIVO.

I cannot get it set up right on my phone, what is the problem. A few times a year it does NOT show the titles of the channels, what is up with that and how do you fix that??????

UPDATE: Appears to be the developer doesn't care for the future of this app, it has been more than 4 months the section Manage still in need to reflect the actual day of recordings (Yesterday shows as today and Today shows as tomorrow). One Pass Manager days are out of sync. The Manage section shows the weekdays erroneously. Today shows as yesterday, tomorrow shows 2 days after, etc, etc... Please fix it. This problem is more than 4 weeks issue. Seems like there is no developer in action.

They did improve over time but why not allow android TV? Makes no sense. If TiVo did maybe people would consider the DVR?
