Dark Wolf
Good game with adaptable difficulty, though the battles are very unforgiving. The RNG between the start and end of a segment is very bizarre, but after level 70 and getting some seriously good equipment, the game is a breeze. Transfer does not work at all however and progression to a new area is permanent. I wouldn't mind paying to remove ads, however there is no cloud save, so if the game is uninstalled there is no way to restore a purchase and so playing online with ads is not player friendly.

Pretty simple and fun dungeon crawler, which is rare on the app store! The devs seem very set on players enjoying themselves, instead of shoving adds and pay-to-win options in their face. The graphics are appealing in a nostalgic kind of way, and the combat is easy to understand and master. Strategy is needed, but not so much that you're dying every fight. Very much recommended to anyone looking for a fun dungeon crawler with this sort of style.

So this game looks pretty awesome, and I was really looking forward to playing it but it doesn't seem to have a full English translation. Despite the language barrier I was able to understand to a minimum how the commands work and how to stack them to increase their effect. I got stuck in the options after clicking on a option and not being to go back anymore(not sure what happened but some blue gem kept spinning). I won't uninstall as I hope they eventually do add full English :)

Really enjoying this. Finding a free mobile RPG that isn't gacha or p2w--and that has minimal microtransactions AND pleasing graphics--is like winning the lottery as far as I'm concerned. There are ads, but you can pay $2 to remove them permanently, which is fine with me. So far this game is scratching a lot of my old school RPG itches and I'm really excited to get deeper into it. Next to BuriedBornes, this may just become one of my favorite mobile games.

5 stars for support! Very cool, old skool RPG. What is here is fun, but the game lacks in several ways. The story is sparse and there is little dialog. There is no exploration at all, the character moves forward, until you reach the end represented by a guage on the right of the screen. The card combat is fun and addictive, as well as the music. The character design is great, only wish they were animated. A lot of potential here, hope they do more with this, all in all, good game. Try it out

Very interesting, unique, and fun game. However I do have some complaints. The game does not explain alot of things. It doesn't explain if there is a set deck you use or are the cards you get just random. Occasionally you will get a level 2 physical attack card, which is great, but it never happens with magic. If you go the magic route you can't get rid of the physical attack cards like you can with magic, making mages so much worse. Slightly more explanation would make things less grindy.

This is great! It is a wizardry-type game with unique but simple combat mechanics. The artwork is very nice and gives the game a great atmosphere. I wish the environments and encounters had a bit more variety, though and some of the dialogue is a little unnatural. The chance of death early on is very high, but you quickly realize the game is built on repeat plays. I say try it!

So I have just completed the first stage of the game (Cave of Trials), and I personally love everything about this game. What's important to me here is the aesthetic, tone and atmosphere that the game creates. There is a unique ambiance of darkness and solitude in the art direction/style and overall atmosphere of the game that is very appealing to me personally. In terms of mechanics it is a relatively simple game but it still manages to feel unique and fun and refreshing. For sure give it a go.

This is the second Japanese dungeon crawler for mobile that has great art direction, the other being buriedbones. Love the look and the gameplay is fun with a bit of strategy thrown in with the card element. The difficulty isn't too bad, but it might discourage newer players, but it's a fantastic gem of a game compared to the majority of hot garbage on the play store.

Garbage: the game essentially kills you repeatedly and takes half your (in-game currency type 1) unless you bought (in-game currency type 2) with actual money. Your progress gets halted hard, post tutorial. This would be tolerable if you could leave and grind up some levels, but coincidentally when you're low health and need to transfer to a lower difficulty stage to grind, the game refuses to connect to the ad server. However, once you want to pay money for currency, it connects no problem
