Doesn't work most of the time. Occasionally it will load properly. But 9/10 times it just tried to load the latest edition but never does. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've made sure it was up-to-date. It's just a lousy app.

News paper 2.0. Since it's not paper there is no need to make the layout like paperwork. I'm more of a sliding guy myself so getting through the new is less working through and more like gliding on with my day more informed than yesterday. A+ Very Sharp.

If i open it and go away it will not open again until i restart the phone.some times i have to restart the phone to get it to open the first time. Glad I kept the old app that i never had a problem with.

Since late January 2019, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app due to it suddenly not having any stories late in the first section. It has a download button that does NOTHING and swiping further does not reveal stories in other sections. It was bad enough dealing with that insane train whistle that accompanied an ad, but now this. Shoddy and sad. Update 7/14/19. Still occasional blackouts. Still days when it days no edition to view. Also, please keep sports to the sports section. IDC.

The ONLY reason I dl this app was for the contests. So I'm really irritated that the app just pops open on it's own EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. When I do try to use this app it opens in full screen, then switches to normal- even though I don't use auto-rotate. Plus it doesn't even load properly, so I can't even read half the articles or ENTER THE CONTESTS (WHICH IS THE WHOLE REASON I HAVE THIS APP)!!!

I enjoy NewsSlide...news stories and photos are first rate. Your sports coverage is poor. You select two or three stories and that's it. No High school basketball or football results...no NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB...standing or results. Can't be too hard to add that type of data on a daily basis, it's in the daily print copy, so why not in the daily News Slide?

Since the Blade stopped printing newspapers on Monday and Tuesday I had to download this app. Overall it's ok, I haven't tried other news apps to compare yet. The main complaint is I can't use the backup arrow to go back a page. I can only scroll down through the article then advance to the next page.

This app freezes. I try to download an issue and it just closes. Sometimes the whole page isn't visible.
