Great application, especially with Android Auto. Reasonable subscription rates and support. Would be nice to be able to change or choose warning sounds as bells are a bit too loud and distracting.

Simply the best, this is a sat nav for the phone and when I don't have my normal tom tom sat nav with me this does the job just as well. I've tried other systems but tom tom is the best and the one I would recommend, all updates install on my phone with no problems. The only complaint I do have is that the subscription, if you have three months left and want to add another subscription it will cancel the 3 months you have left and start when you made the other payment

Why is it that when you download the European maps there all individually downloadable, in which they take up to much memory on my ( Cell/mobile phone ). Why can't you just have it In away that it downloads all at once, or like give you option to download east, West Europe or north or south Europe or all of Europe at once. It would be a huge help. That includes worldwide maps as well please, if you can put it back to the way it was that'll be great. Thank you. Fix it please thanks in advance.

Tried the free trial. Had no problem just signed up for 12mths. Just a shame Google assistant can't be used with the app. Would be lot better if you could. Been using full version now for sometime. Only things I'd say would improve it. Is use landmarks for directions like :ie turn right at traffic lights. Being able to use Google assistant with the app. Would make easier if need to make call. Also have more than 5 poi on map. Give proper symbols for poi like a petrol â˝ for example.

For more than 10 years, I was happy to use the software and maps. Unfortunately, last year (2020), someone decided to release a new map format and software. The transition started with data loss for me. This basically determines the formatting of my opinion. Nevertheless, I tried to look positively forward for a year ...But, since then, both the stability and features of the software and the quality of the maps have become much worse. They are constantly promising to improve the program, but unfortunately in the past more than a year they have not been able to achieve the quality of version 1.8xx. My subscription will run until next March, but I probably wonât renew it unless something miraculous will happen. BTW: the advertised weekly map update is a lie.

Overall I have good experience with this app fighting the traffic. I am using it 50% of the time I am driving. I would use it more if it would have overlay mode which in my opinion is really missing here also blue part on top of the screen with drivimg instructions is huge and covers too much of the map - no way to cistomise that! TomTom developers please do something. Because of above issues I do prefer to use google sat nav 50% of time.

Deceptive marketing. The website states "30 day free trial" on the app. There's no free trial option in your app. After I create a log in on your website, it won't let me sign in on my phone - incorrect password. It lets me sign in on my desktop. Also, deleting my account was not simple but I finally managed to do it.

The best thing about tomtom is the clear and properly timed instructions. Also the right side bar that shows upcoming incidents, speedcams and congestion is nice. Now for the bad parts: Search is broken compared to Google Maps. Updates of maps are tedious and slow Traffic information is limited to a radius of 100km from your current location. On longer trips you will sometimes not be routed around traffic in time and estimated times are hugely optimistic.

I just installed this application and this seems far superior to Google maps and waze. There are so many more options to customize navigation functions. I option to enter destination and then I can look for anything near there from a restaurant to an ATM machine. It will give individual addresses or I can look at points on the map. How did I not know about this sooner? From now on I'm going to search for applications beyond Google because they shouldn't get users just because they are a Goliath.

Hi TomTom team, you really need to fix this very DANGEROUS bug ASAP! I am using TomTom for years and, despite constant glitches, I like the app. But what happend this weekend is very dangerous. I do have an active subscription. I was driving on the Autobahn at high speed and TomTom said to take the exit soon. Suddenly, it stops navigation and displays a message that my trial period has ended and I need to choose a subscription. In the middle of driving!!! And it is when I do have a subscription! Another glitch, but very dangerous as it put me under stress and distracted my attention from the road. I had to stop on the next parking and restart the app. After that, it worked again. Please fix the bug immediately and NEVER display such messages while driving! Happy to change the rating when you confirm that the bug has been fixed. Thanks
