Don't know what's going this app used to work real well. But now it jumps all over the place. Google still tracks while this one doesnt.

I've used this app for a few years now. However, ever since you added Android Auto integration, it simply doesn't work right. I've sent error reports. I've posted about it. I've sent messages...all to no avail. Same phone, no settings changed.. it will not track me properly and it crashes constantly. You're getting 2 stars because All Trails isn't any better. Wish you would listen. Probably just gonna use my Garmin from now on, I preferred the GaiaGPS interface but if it doesn't work,..*shrug*

I use this app 999% of the time while I'm off road. There's option such as public tracks but is only available in web browser and limited public tracks info. If we are paying as much as we are for the Pro plan then give us all the options 100% for our phones/iPads. Also, no property owner info as well as weather info. (Such as OnX) Other than that, app is pretty solid. Don't stop at 99% for your customers who pay premium money that will have to revert to another app to find out more info.

If I depended on this app for survival I'd be dead. The app crashes constantly. Nearly every time it goes in the background it crashes. It even locks up my whole device. This happens on both devices I have it installed on. It locks up nearly every single time I do anything. Save a waypoint? Crash. Hit "Record" crash. Just sitting there doing nothing. Crash. The interface is not well laid out. When in portrait mode roughly 50% of the map is hidden by the buttons. The "Record" button and "Take picture" button are on both sides of the UI in portrait mode. Why are these buttons on the primary interface and why have them there twice? And there is a whole band of white space to left of the Search button. Why take up so much real estate on the interface and make it blank? On that note, the Distance and Ascent are also just taking up space on the UI unless the trip is being recorded. Why take up space on the interface when it's not being used? It is incredibly poor UI design. I want to see the map, not a bunch of unless buttons & white space. When saving an area, I can't resize the red square until I cancel out and try again. Still haven't figured out how to save any layers with a map that give any useful detail. The first time I used the "save map along route" option, I only got the roads I was traveling on. In a area that doesn't have cell reception and need to make a side trip - too bad I am now lost.

App does not work on tablet, no login button to push after you put in your login information . stupid front end app error. Access to app maps and such rely on signing in. works on phone app. Should be the same but its not, several reinstalls but nothing to work with

This application kicks butt!! This is easy to use, takes a little practice to learn but is geared more for experienced users. Spend the time to learn it, you won't be disappointed. It will deliver everything you need and more. Its not hard for the weekend warriors, but the hard core guys will really appreciate its features!! Thank you Gaia!!!!

I've used the premium app for environmental purposes for well over a year. It used to track very accurate showing the curves but now when I walk things out and export it to Google earth it's very blocky now and doesn't show curves just straight lines. I'm very disappointed because it used to track so much better. Will be looking for a better app

Let's Keep Exploring! I love the smooth integration of my GAIA account acrossed PC, Android tablet & Android phone. Support was excellent at working through some bugs a couple years ago. I've been impressed ever since.

This app is nothing like the iOS version. Why can't you just make this thing work? This is so frustrating. I have Gaia on my iPad as well as Android phone as well as android tablet. The android version is truly embarrassing. The difference is night and day.

Not reliable, was better before. Now the app crashes when I try and make a route, GPS snaps all over the place when recording a track so it looks like I'm doing a search grid or something where 10 miles turns into 30. Downloading maps takes forever, using multiple layers on a laptop is laggy and creating a route on my laptop is frustrating. The maps themselves are very useful, all in one place. Fire history and current satellite images and Noaa maps all in one spot is valuable though.
