Tummi FODMAP is the leading App to support your adoption of a low FODMAP diet to alleviate IBS symptoms.
The low FODMAP diet is a therapeutic approach for those suffering from IBS symptoms. This diet-as-a-therapy starts by removing all high-FODMAP foods from your diet for up to six weeks, avoiding only those foods that might be triggers. Dietitians recommend maintaining a FODMAP food diary to support the change in your diet and helping you beat your IBS.
The low-FODMAP diet is an evidence-based approach. Leading studies have found it leads to improvement in 7 out of 10 patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
The Tummi FODMAP app is available completely for free to help users beat their IBS without any need for prescriptions, supplements or ongoing therapy. Once your symptoms improve, the app supports the process to methodically add back the various FODMAP food groups one at a time to see which ones you can tolerate. The reintroduction process allows you to achieve a better-balanced diet enjoying a wider variety of foods.
Tummi allows you to search for your favourite foods from our directory of over 20,000 different meals and food items so that you can quickly identify low FODMAP foods that are kind to your gut.

This app is such a tease. It would be so useful, but nothing works!

I've tried two different email address so I can register and I still do not receive the verification email. I have also tried resending it several times, however I do recieve the email to reset my password. So this app is useless. Shame as I would like to use it. Original rating 1 star Thanks for the quick response from your team in under an hour. Great service and the app works perfectly.

Very useful as I figure out my gut issues! Features I'd like to see are an ability to copy a previous meal (leftovers are key!), default the view to today instead of tomorrow, don't make me scroll to pick a meal (plenty of space to put it all on one page), and make it possible to edit a prior meal (if I think of an ingredient I missed, it's a deterrent to have to delete the meal and start over). Thanks for creating this - looking forward to seeing it improve!

Very very limited on food input. I wanted to input tuna salad sandwich, and unless it was this particular brand of tuna (not even a tuna salad or tuna salad sandwich) it refused. The app also doesn't show me whether or not the food I did pick was a good choice. So I might have to use two apps... One to analyze foods, one to use as a diary and symptom tracker. I was hoping for an all in one

Design and concept are great since I've been tracking everything in a notebook, but when you go to input meals it has a super limited number of meals it will actually accept. A Cobb Salad (and what's on it) is very different than a House Salad. Also needs to allow you to add notes more than just the basic IBS flare up symptoms. Not everyone experiences IBS in those ways. Would also be nice to have a calendar feature for planning meals if you're into that. Back to paper for now I guess...

Great idea, but the list of foods is highly restrictive and there is no clear way of adding new things. As a coeliac, following a strict gluten free diet, I often have to substitute my meals for gluten-containing versions on the app, so the analysis is not representative. Also, some foods are classed differently in the traffic light system depending on the term chosen (i.e mozzarella (Green) and grated mozzarella (red))

Nicely designed app but limited functionality. I wanted to add foods to my diary but if they're not in the lookup list you can add them. Like gluten-free pasta, white coffee. I did like the quantity of branded foods prepopulated in there though. The ability to edit a meal after submitting it would also be useful. I found the app too limited for the 2 meals I had today and won't be using it.

Good for tracking & identifying high FODMAP foods, as long as you understand how & why they affect your own biological balance. A small explanation alongside each Red or Green label, detailing what exactly makes it good or bad and how it could affect an individual would make the app a 5-star-level of useful. Maybe also a sort of 'Personal Diet creator' section where you can put together a plan for a week or month, consisting of foods that the app has helped identify as good or bad for the user.

The app is clean and simple and I love the design. My only draw back, which is major for me, is not being able to enter foods that do not come up on their list. The developers were responsive to my feedback and I really appreciate that.

Amazing support tool for the fodmap diet. I had just started fodmap as instructed by my dietitian but was stuggling to keep on top of it. This app really helped me track which foods lead to my bad days and I loved being able to update my food diary by voice, really helpful feature.
