Good camera for $300 but please fix the app......Enough people have the same issues fix the app...We have 60 technicians that use these cameras daily and they are great when the app works. We will use them and phase SEEK out and find another brand. Its upsetting that you know you have issues and there hasn't been an update to solve. $18,000 mistake on our part.

The app could use some work. The thermal camera works but there's a persistent tick being emitted from it. If you use an adapter to connect the camera to your phone, make sure that it is OTG compatible.

Horrible experience...whether the camera is good or not, you will never now as the app renders the camera useless. Disappointing and ultimately unusable!

Terrible, glitchy app for a great camera. Unfortunately the camera's functionality is only as good as the app. The gallery won't open to view images captured, half the time the app won't recognize my camera. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10 with the most current software. To take still images the app demands location and audio permissions. One of the lousiest apps I've ever used!

3 not less, because it works. It lets you activate recording of pictures or video with the volume button or the in app button. They have some useful color filters. 3 not more, because the app does not rotate on screen mirroring, it is stuck in tall screen mode, so it isnt useful for putting thermal images on your TV unless they are prerecorded, which defeats my purposes.

Works no problem with my Galaxy S21 Ultra. I imagine most that are complaining are using the micro USB model. The USB-C model works with no fuss. App feels super outdated, but it works. Wish there was a way to remove location from the watermark. Would be nice if the added visible light image overlay like FLIR can do. I think there is definitely work that would need to be put in to properly calibrate it to really work well with the phones camera. The side by side is mostly a joke.

Constant on and off. Worked for a day, 5 seconds at a time then never again. Junk! Invest in a handheld, less to go wrong.

Garbage! Update Nov21 still garbage. Done with Seek. $800 on 2 devices and as smartphones update, these devices won't work. Zero attempts to correct software issues. I guess we are supposed to buy new cameras every couple years. BS! Onto other brands. SAVE YOUR $$

New version of the app requires you to allow it to monitor your location (last version requested it, but would still run if you denied permission). They keep testing the waters on how much they can get away with privacy invasion. An earlier version required you to register an account and they backed off after people complained, but it looks like they've pushed back into requiring you to give up privacy to use the device you paid for. I regret buying their thermal camera as a result.
