L'Union des Syndicats de Monaco est née le 06 octobre 1944.
Héritière de la tradition du syndicalisme français et plus particulièrement celui de la Confédération Générale du Travail, elle a joué un rôle déterminant dans les conquêtes sociales qui ont contribué à changer la vie des salariés depuis l'après guerre.
L'expérience unitaire de l'U.S.M., son aptitude à cultiver la vie collective, son ouverture aux sensibilités diverses dans le respect des différences, l'ont progressivement transformée en une organisation syndicale bien ancrée dans les réalités du pays et à la personnalité originale.

Elle a pu ainsi demeurer la Fédération unique des syndicats de Monaco, atout incomparable pour le monde salarié.
Forte de ses adhérents, de son indépendance aussi bien à l'égard des partis politiques, des organisations syndicales extérieures, du patronat ou du gouvernement, de sa capacité militante à organiser la lutte, l'Union des Syndicats de Monaco offre aux salariés la possibilité de s'organiser pour défendre leurs intérêts immédiats et participer, s'ils le souhaitent, à la transformation de la société.
The Union of Trade Unions of Monaco was born on October 06, 1944.
Heir to the tradition of French trade unionism and more particularly that of the General Confederation of Labor, it has played a decisive role in the social conquests that have contributed to changing the lives of employees since the post-war period.
The unitary experience of the U.S.M., its ability to cultivate collective life, its openness to various sensitivities while respecting differences, gradually transformed it into a union organization well anchored in the realities of the country and with an original personality.

It was thus able to remain the single Federation of trade unions in Monaco, an incomparable asset for the working world.
With its members, its independence from political parties, external trade union organizations, employers and government, its militant capacity to organize the fight, the Union of Trade Unions of Monaco offers employees the possibility to organize themselves to defend their immediate interests and participate, if they wish, in the transformation of society.
